For Beverly.

From here

[She was not the first to be fascinated and she probably will not be the last. Though truth be told, he's a very minor royal, currently ruling more because of his own deeds than by any claim of birthright.

But it's something else in Beverly's mind that catches Finrod's attention- just a fleeting thought. Her image of Galadriel is so clear. Lothlórien means nothing to him, of course. He has not seen it; it does not exist yet, as a realm. But his sister is unmistakable.]

You have seen my sist- Maglor showed you. Of course. [His smile grows.] I am glad.

[And he'll show her a bit more- not Galadriel as Beverly first saw her- the ethereal, awe-inspiring power that she will become- but as Artanis, a small elven girl with bright blue eyes and her skirts hiked up to her knees, wading barefoot through a stream.

'Hurry up, Findaráto! Why must you be so slow?']

[(That of course, would only garner Finrod more approval in Beverly's eyes. Rule by merit is more in line with her sensibilities than rule by birth.)

Beverly is delighted to see Galadriel as a child and even more delighted to hear what she calls Finrod. She beams at him.]

Findaráto! Is that her nickname for you?

[He chuckles] Something of the opposite, in fact. 'Finrod' is the Sindarized form of 'Findaráto,' my Father-name.

Many of the Noldor took new names when we came to Middle Earth. It was... simpler, for a variety of reasons. Maglor, for instance, adapted his from his Mother-name, 'Makalaurë.'

It's a beautiful name. [She hums happily.] Findaráto. What does it mean?

[He chuckles a little] Roughly? It translates as 'mighty descendant of Finwë.' It is rather typical of the names in my family, really.

[The corner of Beverly's mouth quirks upward, amused.]

Well it's certainly better than "beaver stream."

[Sorry, Beverly. He can't help but laugh a little at that.]

Perhaps- until you learn of Curufinwë, Findis, Ñolofinwë, Arafinwë, Findekáno, Nelyafinwë, Canafinwë, Morifinwë, Turcafinwë, Pityafinwë, and Telufinwë- and Curufinwë was used twice, I should mention. [He rattles the names off, counting them off on his fingers.]

My family is a little ridiculous.

[Beverly laughs.]

That's quite the list! But I do think there's something nice in having that familial connection to one another.
