[ Before anyone's got a chance to acclimate, there's some small racket going on. Apparently one of the visitors got past the designated radius and is being carried back by guardbots. Yes: carried. He's completely unconscious and looks rather pale. It takes a while but anyone nearby at the time will notice Chris stirring from the corner they've laid in him and not looking too hot when he does. ]

Okay, so that's mandrake and cypress, oleander... What's next?

[ Chris doesn't seem too out of place now. He is wearing a hat with a brim to cover his eyes while his body adjusts from utter wracking pain of going outside the mile radius, but other than that seems pretty okay. That list he's got, on the other hand... it's pretty long and full of lots of esoteric components. Sure looks like he's on a mission here. ]

Rosemary, wormwood... They probably won't have fairy wings here. [ There's a pen, and there's some scribbling on his list. ] I'll figure something else out.

[Cole was ready to head out when he saw Chris getting carried in by guardbots and he decided to stay near his son at least until he wakes up. Despite everything that happened recently, he was going to be there for him at least for this. When Chris finally stirs, Cole lets out a sigh of amusement.]

[ Chris groans, one hand making it halfway up before he lets it lie back down. Stillness sounds like the plan for now. ]

[ What? Oh, someone's talking to him. Chris automatically flips the list over so it folds and shrugs. ]

Just stocking up on some stuff. This is the first place I've seen that actually carries anything useful.

There's likely a very small list for which things like mandrake are useful.

[ He looks at her for a moment, confused, before his expression changes to something comical because yeah he remembers Krista is fairykind. ]

They're collected. At least... the ones we get... they aren't just— [ Now he's kind of flailing a bit. ] Um. Okay. Let's start over. Where I come from, fairies can't even be seen by anyone not pure of heart, so you can't get their wings until they're dead anyway.

[ Chris just brings his hand to his face as if to hide the shame. SHAAAAME. ]

Okaaaay... [she still sounds skeptical, but his suffering makes her feel better. she ends up smirking. points at her eyes. points at his.] But I'm watching you, buster.

[ Chris huffs, uncomfortable and yet not surprised. He gives her a tight smile with some actual humor in it even and lets his head tilt to the side. ]

Yeah, what's new. Is there anything else I can do besides keep sticking my foot in my mouth right now?

[Beverly is coming back from - well, it doesn't matter where, the point is there is someone who needs her help. As soon as she sees Chris, she is kneeling beside him. She presses two fingers to his neck to check his pulse, which she is relieved to see is normal.]

Hello? Can you hear me?

[ Chris groans, turning his head away from the hand on his neck. His head is killing him. Smells and sounds and touch all a bit too sensitive. ]

You don't look well. Can you move? Our ship has a sickbay where I could help you better than out here.

[ That gets an amused sound out of Chris before he decides that's a bad idea too. ]

So's mine. Ugh... [ He slowly tries to sit up, eyes not even opening and it's pretty clear he's in pain. That instant knockout for shimmering outside the radius has definitely left the mother of all headaches. ] I think... I'm okay.
