[What's this? An actual transmission from Kaneis? It's on voice only, and guess what- he sounds as apathetic as ever.]

Hey, I don't want to alarm anyone, but I was looking at the scans earlier while trying not to crash into these space rocks- asteroids? Whatever.

Anyway, you remember those guys that tried to kill us about two months ago? The guys that kicked the living crap outta us? Those guys? Yeah, I think they're back again. At least, that's what the scanner says, it's hard to really get a good read.

[He gives a yawn] Yeah. Just thought someone would like to know.

[She nods her head in understanding. The fear is still a little palpable in her voice, but she there is also a clear ring of grim determination to it as well.]

I was not here for their attack on the fleet. What can you tell me about them?

[Poor girl. Unfortunately, Kaneis is not that good at comfort]

Unfortunately, we don't know anything about them. Our scanners didn't get a good read, and they weren't keen on talking before they opened fire on us.

But I know their ships are better quality than ours. Last time they kicked the crap out of us before they just decided to up and leave.

[Wanda mulls over Kaneis's words. There wasn't enough in his description to confirm if the aliens that attacked New York and the ones that attacked the fleet were the same. She'll have to ask a more specific question.]

Did the alien crafts... [She pauses, as she knows this will likely sound crazy.] look like giant flying serpents? Clad in golden, metallic armor plating?

Uh....no. I can't remember them looking like that oddly specific description.

[Wanda lets out a small sigh of relief. The chitauri would have likely been a force too mighty for the fleet to handle. However, it was still cold comfort knowing that their might be some other equally hostile alien force out there.]

Back home, there was an attack by such a species of aliens. I wanted to know if perhaps the fleet could be facing the same threat.
