Hey, I don't want to alarm anyone, but I was looking at the scans earlier while trying not to crash into these space rocks- asteroids? Whatever.

Anyway, you remember those guys that tried to kill us about two months ago? The guys that kicked the living crap outta us? Those guys? Yeah, I think they're back again. At least, that's what the scanner says, it's hard to really get a good read.

[He gives a yawn] Yeah. Just thought someone would like to know.

The Vanquish has a pilot and shields, but we don't have any way of firing back.

Clay? I think he's pretty good. He's an 'astronaut' at home, he said. I guess piloting spaceships is what he does for a living.

If your ship can't fire back, though, I might ask him to stay in your airspace. We could probably take some of the hits for you.

[It's a biiiit awkward, seeing that totally open video and all, but since it's he's the pilot here, Clay figures he ought to make himself known and ready.]

[Now he probably would've argued much in the same vein as Kaneis and Lloyd if the whole thing hadn't been resolved, but. Since it is, he'll just not bring it up for now.]

Now now, they might not be aliens.

Honestly, we don't know. They always move out of range before we can get a good scan, and they haven't responded to any attempts to communicate with them. Last time they watched us for awhile, then over a month later they attacked.

Let's see how far they're willin' to run this time.

I wouldn't mind if they keep on running. That last fight didn't leave me with a desire to try a second round.

Kind of dumb we don't know what their deal is. From a TV perspective I guess it ramps up the suspense, but some clues would be nice. Even a red herring.
