Who: Cullen
Broadcast: Fleetwide audio
Action: SS Huntress
When: This week
[Cullen doesn't like broadcasting, hence why he very rarely does it. He has no problem speaking to groups of people, rallying troop before battle, but there's something different about this sort of communication that he really does not enjoy. Even still it makes him uncomfortable.
But this is important.]
An odd request, but I was hoping that if anyone happened to possess spare... [how does he even ask] decorative items? A resident on the Huntress is hoping to set up a sort of tea room [why is he doing this] and so I'd figured I'd ask if anyone would want to donate to the cause.
[Elize has him around her little finger, that's why.]
It'd be greatly appreciated.

A tea room?
no subject
Yes. We have a tea set, currently. It's a start.
no subject
Yes, that certainly is a start.
Do you mean...like a restaurant tea room, or a private one or...? Whose it for?
no subject
It's Elize's idea, if you're familiar with her.

[aka make her a dress for tea parties. Cole is surprisingly a good dad when he actually feels like it.]

[He'll have to see if Elize would want a... dress, or some curtains for the walls. What do little girls want more?]

[There's a moment where he doesn't talk and then suddenly:]
Oh, we have a few pounds of chocolate here too.

A tea room.
[He sounds it out carefully, in the hopes that it will make it less weird. It doesn't. Cullen, you're letting the badass warrior side down and there's really not enough of them for you to be doing that. ]
This is for the little girl?
no subject
Elize, yes.
no subject
Hm. I met her on the last waystation. She was pleasant enough.
[She was freaking adorable, but this is Fenris and he will cling to his emotional constipation like his life depends on it. ]
I knew a young girl in Exsilium. She enjoyed these things called comic books. They are comprised mostly of pictures, where the words of the story are written largely from the drawn characters in little bubbles. Perhaps she would enjoy something like that. To read while she has...her tea.
[He doesn't fucking know. He doesn't understand kids at all, this is all he's got. ]
i c what u did there

You're very kind, helping her like this.
Oh! Maybe Jove could get a cutting of one of her plants and when Elize can have a potter flower plant!

Elize wanted to know what a nug was, so I drew one, but then I had to do it again because I realised drawings only show what's there, not what's there.
... I don't think makes sense in words.

[ Shyly peeking out at him from behind a wall. She doesn't sound upset, she's just... saying. Except she really wouldn't have asked at all! ]
no subject
I know. I thought I'd save you the trouble.
[But she can be shy...]

[ A small smile. She walks over, taking a seat next to him. ]
I'll do my best to collect things too. For my tea room and for the rest of the ship.
[ The last waystation had some nice things, but... too expensive. ]
