[Cullen doesn't like broadcasting, hence why he very rarely does it. He has no problem speaking to groups of people, rallying troop before battle, but there's something different about this sort of communication that he really does not enjoy. Even still it makes him uncomfortable.

But this is important.]

An odd request, but I was hoping that if anyone happened to possess spare... [how does he even ask] decorative items? A resident on the Huntress is hoping to set up a sort of tea room [why is he doing this] and so I'd figured I'd ask if anyone would want to donate to the cause.

[Elize has him around her little finger, that's why.]

It'd be greatly appreciated.

We did some drawings before. I said we could do painting together when Solas had taught me.

Elize wanted to know what a nug was, so I drew one, but then I had to do it again because I realised drawings only show what's there, not what's there.

... I don't think makes sense in words.

[Cullen does try, at least, to understand.]

I think I get the gist of it. She's a good artist, Elize. She drew Jove a picture not too long ago.

She drew a rappig for me. It's not really like a nug, but her thoughts of them were similar.

You're starting to circle each other, like Simon and River. It's lovely. You're very lucky.

Simon and River...? [He's not sure if it's River or river. He needs a translation here, but he thinks he might have the general idea.

The Tam siblings. They circle one another, she says she's a moon to his moon, that she dances his orbit because their love holds them there.

[Maker. Leave it to Cole to be so vaguely blunt.]

I wouldn't allow myself to drift too far away from her.

Good. She needs you to not wander, so you can circle one another. You make her feel safe and wanted. No one wanted her before.

She'll never feel that again, as long as I'm able to prevent it.

[He can't think of leaving. He's thought less and less about returning home as the days go by.]

And even then, she seems to be collecting people from Thedas.

I know she won't.

[He cants his head.]

But we're not all on the same ship...

[She wanted to be on his. Even still, it warms his heart.]

Perhaps one day. She'd like that.

I don't think you'd like living that close to Solas.

[Because Cole would bring Solas with him.]

Dare I ask why you think that?

A lot of reasons.

[Cole is doing that squirming thing he does when he's trying not to say something. He doesn't lie. He does obfuscate sometimes, to try and stop someone being hurt or upset.]

You two think very different. About lots of things.

We do. But I hold no ill will towards him.

[He looks somewhere else entirely.]

I know you don't. You don't hold any ill will to me either, and you had far more reason to.

[Cullen sighs.]

You don't need to worry, Cole.

I don't worry about it. You don't dislike me. You could, because of what I am, but you don't.

You don't like the things I see and say sometimes, but you don't dislike me.

That's right. And I know Elize would be happy if you spent more time on the Huntress.

[There's your invitation, Cole.]

She would?

[For all that Cole was very good at intuiting how to cheer people up, he wasn't good at knowing what would make them happy.]

Would anyone be upset if I spent more time there?

No. [He means it.] Just keep her out of trouble.

Cadash used to say I didn't know how to keep myself out of trouble, but I'll look after her.

She... reminds Cole of his little sister. What she might have grown up like. I think... they were near the same age, maybe.

[He's quiet for a few moments.]

She reminds me of my younger sister, Rosalie, at times. So full of life.

Is Rosalie the one who always beat you at chess?

[That earns a quiet snort of amusement.]

No. That would be my older sister, Mia.
