A cry for help

[a distress call has been tracked across the void, finally leading back to the source. a hulking crippled ship, teeming with hostile alien life, now lies before you.

what do you do? do you dive in or hang back? are you here to learn, play, build, or observe?

however you choose to proceed, your audience is out there somewhere, watching.]

ooc: here is a good ol' themed mingle to get you all started! and don't feel limited by the prompts and what they describe--they're just there as idea-starters, so feel free to go anywhere and do anything.

have fun!

[ Perhaps surprisingly one of those is Vanyel. Where Axel had used fire, Vanyel had used lightning, to roughly the same effect, though wind - being a more physical force - seem to at least keep the bugs back if not damage them. He tried to keep as much magic as he could reserved, having to draw from his own reserves without the magic planet to reinforce him now. ]

I don't suppose a jolt would help?

[Axel snickers.]

No, I think that would just short things out, honestly. Some of this seems damaged already, which probably isn't helping. All I can really seem to get into is basic ship stats. It's a merchant ship, most of the systems are shut down... [He sort of swats at the console, irritated.] I can't even seem to get it to show me a schematic, though; a map sure would be nice.

I wish I could be of more help, but I only understand as much as the augment managed to give me.

[ He shook his head, watching the door warily, ready to summon lightning or wind to defend them as need be. ]

Perhaps if you strike it harder?
