he's currently stooped down under another console, looking at the actual wires and circuitry. now that they're not under attack, and he's spent enough time hanging around to calm down all that jittering anxiety, he's letting himself actually acknowledge that he understands some of this stuff. he might even be being helpful, in what way he can.]
