broadcast 01
Who: Natasha Romanoff and various guests
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Post-broadcast, abandoned waystation? Action prompt in comments
When: During bugfest 20XX
[On screen, there's a very calm redhead looking thoughtfully at the camera, one brow slightly cocked.]
It's occurred to me that the fleet has about ten times as many firearms as it does medical professionals. It's also been pretty apparent that a lot of our cast members don't know the basics of gun safety and use. If anyone wants to learn, I'll be at the following coordinates.
[The message ends with a bit of text, the location of one of the abandoned waystations in near orbit.]

[come to think of it, how does naoto have a gun?]
Nah, I stick to kicking things.

There's nothing wrong with hand-to-hand combat, but a ranged weapon can be useful. Especially given current circumstances.
[Meaning the bugs. Kicking bugs can't be very effective. Or comfortable.]

don't knock it until you try it okNO DON'T MENTION THE BUGS. SERIOUSLY. chie is trying to forget the bugs are a thing because ew. EW.]Well ... I mean, I guess I do want to join the police, after high school. And if it's not illegal here, and it could be helpful ...

Also, the more people there are in this place trained in the use of the weapons Atroma gives you, the better our odds of not ending up accidentally dead, so there's that incentive.

[anything chie can do to help protect people is a good thing, right?]
OK, I could use some training, if you don't mind one more! I'm Chie Satonaka, by the way.

[The name sounds fairly Japanese, but she doesn't know much about whatever kind of world this girl is from. Still, her pronunciation is spot-on, at least.]
More the merrier. There's plenty of space. I don't think what's left of the population of this place is going to mind a little noise.

You don't need to use honorifics with me. It's as much selfish as it is anything else. I'd rather not get shot by someone who doesn't know what they're doing and panics.
[A tiny flicker of what might be a smile, then:]
There're a lot of things preferable to being eaten by monsters. Come by. I'll be here.

I'll be there soon!

When Chie shows up, Nat is finishing up with another would-be student. Setting them to practice, she looks over, beckoning to the girl.]
