SHUFFLE/WAY-STATION/ILLNESS/WHATEVER MINGLE POST
Who: You! Me! Him! Her! Them! Everyone!
Broadcast: If you want!
Action: On your respective ships, or the Waystations!
When: After the shuffle over the next couple days! Whenever man!
[It's been nearly a week since the fleet's said their goodbyes to the planet full of skull face folks, and another Shuffle has come and gone. Despite what was mentioned on the last week's Shuffle about cannibalism, it doesn't seem like any crews has resorted to that, so maybe some of you have begun to relax.]
[Or maybe not. In fact, maybe you should do a crew headcount just in case1.]
[By now, some of you who handled any red stones from the planet natives may be feeling under the weather or even downright shitty. But hey! What's that to stop you from visiting the way-stations? These way-stations may be in the same crappy condition as the last way-stations - but at least they're people on these ones! Really...shady looking people! But that's not about to stop you from making friends right2?]
[Essentially, this is a game wide mingle post for this week's shuffle, November's way-stations anyone getting ill, or anything else you want to do but too lazy to make a post about! Please feel free to tag in and tag around! Just make sure to put your characters' location and communication methods (action/network) in the header and/or in the prompts!]
1. - This recommendation goes double for the SS Blue Fish.
2. - Warning: Attempts to make friends with extremely shady characters on the Way-Stations may result in heartwarming musical numbers, or much, much more likely - being kidnapped. Please use your own discretion.

[ Not answering his either, though. ]

[so matter-of-factly]
Now answer mine.

[ Wow, she's weirdly unhappy about him having this random knife he found in a dead guy! Huh. ]
no subject
I does look that way, doesn't it?
But that's not really an answer to the question.

[he gestures the blade in her direction, like a pointing finger]
And for clarification, I'm asking if it was ever yours, regardless of it presently being in my possession.

I like you.
So, I'm going to tell you a secret, alright?
no subject
Are you.

My job is bringing death to living things. It's the entire reason I was created. It's what I'm made out of.
So, there is no reason at all that you shouldn't tell me the truth.
[he flips the knife around in his hand, holding the blade and offering the hilt out to her.]
I'm sure he deserved it.

But then, at the same time, she knows that someone like that wouldn't be missed. It could have been any of the decent people in the fleet, just as easily as it was her, that he'd set his sights on. ]
It sounds to me like you already know what happened.
[ She'll cross the room, then, and go to grab it from his hand. Doesn't even care that he's still holding the blade. ]
no subject
Is there a reason that you don't like me, Emblica?
I'm a good friend to have, sometimes.
no subject
[ She's certainly not holding anything back from him when it comes to this topic. ]
And I doubt you can give me anything I need.
no subject
What makes you so sure that I can't?
Give me an example.

There's only one way to kill a true god.
Demigods gods are another story, however. ...Why do you ask?
no subject
[ God, she is so annoying. ]
no subject
[yes. she is.]
no subject
Only a god can kill another god. If you're still able to do that, then you might be good for something.
no subject
I hate to break it to you, but mortals are the ones who kill gods.
And it really is a pity that you're so quick to underestimate me so badly.
no subject
Not where I come from. And that's what this concerns.
no subject
What kind of god is it? Who worships it? What does it govern?
no subject
It's a god that governs the land above it. They don't so much worship it as they acknowledge it and listen to it.
no subject
Gods need followers. It's where they get their power.
No followers, no god.
