SHUFFLE/WAY-STATION/ILLNESS/WHATEVER MINGLE POST
Who: You! Me! Him! Her! Them! Everyone!
Broadcast: If you want!
Action: On your respective ships, or the Waystations!
When: After the shuffle over the next couple days! Whenever man!
[It's been nearly a week since the fleet's said their goodbyes to the planet full of skull face folks, and another Shuffle has come and gone. Despite what was mentioned on the last week's Shuffle about cannibalism, it doesn't seem like any crews has resorted to that, so maybe some of you have begun to relax.]
[Or maybe not. In fact, maybe you should do a crew headcount just in case1.]
[By now, some of you who handled any red stones from the planet natives may be feeling under the weather or even downright shitty. But hey! What's that to stop you from visiting the way-stations? These way-stations may be in the same crappy condition as the last way-stations - but at least they're people on these ones! Really...shady looking people! But that's not about to stop you from making friends right2?]
[Essentially, this is a game wide mingle post for this week's shuffle, November's way-stations anyone getting ill, or anything else you want to do but too lazy to make a post about! Please feel free to tag in and tag around! Just make sure to put your characters' location and communication methods (action/network) in the header and/or in the prompts!]
1. - This recommendation goes double for the SS Blue Fish.
2. - Warning: Attempts to make friends with extremely shady characters on the Way-Stations may result in heartwarming musical numbers, or much, much more likely - being kidnapped. Please use your own discretion.

Um... No. And we aren't friends. [she looks back at that tree, trying not to die on the inside.] I don't make friends with trees. I mean--they're not actually capable of forming emotional bonds with things because they aren't sentient. Or anything.
[godddd. she'll just clear her throat, which does not fix her whispering problem at all.]
I hope you're not just assuming I'm a crazy person because that's kind of where I feel like I'm going with this one.

I don't think you're crazy, no. [ his tone evening out, he's quite serious about that statement. arms crossing, though his posture remains hideously lax. ] Any reason why I caught you whispering about Atroma, then? Don't want to make anymore assumptions while I'm at it.

Oh, no I was just... asking... the tree if it's... ever heard of them or seen them around or something? Or if it even knows what it is? Because I sure don't. Sometimes tree spirits pick up on stuff that normal people don't...
[...well, maybe she can spin this obviously strange situation to be kind of funny? she starts fidgeting with her hair, trying to stay a sorta-confident teenager in front of an adult...]
But sometimes they just talk about a wind that went by the other day and how people have been trampling their roots and stuff. Kind of unhelpful...

Manage to glean anything interesting? [ although he really does appreciate the humor on her end. ] Though the trees who talk about a good breeze or people on walks are from your place, I'm guessing? What's a wind like to 'em?
no subject
Well, um... Trees don't exactly talk out-loud where I'm from, either. I just have a lot going on. [but look at her! she can take on a slightly less serious tone.] Though, they are particularly fond of breezes in the wintertime. Helps get the gross dead leaves off. This asshole-- [she points to the plastic tree.] He wouldn't know a good breeze even if it was the middle of August.
