[It's been nearly a week since the fleet's said their goodbyes to the planet full of skull face folks, and another Shuffle has come and gone. Despite what was mentioned on the last week's Shuffle about cannibalism, it doesn't seem like any crews has resorted to that, so maybe some of you have begun to relax.]

[Or maybe not. In fact, maybe you should do a crew headcount just in case1.]

[By now, some of you who handled any red stones from the planet natives may be feeling under the weather or even downright shitty. But hey! What's that to stop you from visiting the way-stations? These way-stations may be in the same crappy condition as the last way-stations - but at least they're people on these ones! Really...shady looking people! But that's not about to stop you from making friends right2?]

[Essentially, this is a game wide mingle post for this week's shuffle, November's way-stations anyone getting ill, or anything else you want to do but too lazy to make a post about! Please feel free to tag in and tag around! Just make sure to put your characters' location and communication methods (action/network) in the header and/or in the prompts!]

Oh, good. Because I really suck at fighting and stuff.

[she will happily follow along wherever Jill goes, now. she's kind of linefacey, but seems to already be more at-ease than she was when she was caught doing something weird.]

I guess it's better that the place is full of obviously shady people, instead of, like... I don't know, people who act really nice but are secretly out to harvest our organs and sell them on the black space market. Black hole market? Hm.

Ah, well, then you're definitely in good hands if there is one.

[ She punctuates it by balling a fist in one hand and cracking her knuckles from it all at once then repeating the action with the opposite one. She tilts her head some to the side, tiny little crack of a smile digging at the corners of her mouth. ]

Honestly, that doesn't sound all that out there. I don't even know what the intentions are of the people or things that have us on those ships. Entertainment seems a little much, if not very sketchy. Hopefully it's the lesser of two evils right now. Assuming our organs are in danger.

[a-ah, she smiles and claps her hands lightly... a quiet round of applause for the impressive lady who is probably way more physically competent than she will ever be in her entire life.]

Whoa, so... are you saying you think there might be something else going on? Aside from the whole galactic entertainment thing?

Don't know what to say, really. It just seems too simple to me.

[ She's more physically competent than most people will ever be in their lives, frankly. Either way, she's not quite sold on the entertainment angle... ]

Ooo, conspiracy. [she scoots up so that she can walk right beside her, folding up her hands behind her back.] You know, my high school was supposed to be this state-run social experiment for "gifted" students and stuff like that? And then it turns out that it was actually the grounds for like, ancient avatar transference rituals for vampires and werewolves and stuff. It was so a plot twist.

[shrugs.....] So I'm kind of starting to think that nothing is really simple. You know?
