... Like I said before, my world got destroyed. Saying I 'survived' was a bit misleading, though. I'm just as dead as there. The difference is, instead of just being unmade, I got shattered instead.

I ended up waking up in a castle after that, in an endless void. We were told what had happened, and told that only a single shard of our souls had been rescued, and we had to recover the rest ourselves, by playing 'games'. We all couldn't remember anything because of that, so not like we could argue. We heard that if we managed to restore our souls completely, our worlds would be brought back, too.

[ He listens. His expression getting less severe and more...sad, even horrified, as she talks. That story, it was... ]
