[Congratulations to the crews that did not get themselves blown up! Welcome to the Blue Planet, a planet full of charming islands and even less charming weather patterns! Are you going to take the time to enjoy the beach? Help out with the local Nunnilis population? Get caught in a storm with another person and have a rating boosting sexual tension moment? The world's your oyster!]

No way... I kind of maybe didn't think it was actually a real thing.

[She's still not necessarily sold on that, especially given some of the things she's seen. And people. Or people substitutes. One gothy elf boy and a fake ocean? Nothing on a pony with an accordion. Shrugging herself, Natasha stands, picking up her wrap and tying it around her waist. Now apparently fully dressed, she heads towards him, hand on a hip.]
Never going to enjoy it dressed like that, either. Let's go find you something to wear.
no subject
and he nods--ready to follow her without even really thinking about it.]
Is that where you got that? Did they just send it to you or something?
no subject
[And the retro 50s look certainly likes her. It also hides a decent number of scars. The only one really visible is the tiny, round pink circle on her left shoulder, the matching slightly larger circle on her back.
She has no idea which ship is his, but hangs back towards his side after the first few steps, assuming he'll take the lead.]
no subject
[he hands out the compliment easily, though he's still distracted--by the ocean, by the look of the new planet, by things happening around him. and it takes him a second of slowing down to automatically match her pace... before he realizes he's supposed to be leading.
right, okay. they need to backtrack a little bit, and then the ship is right nearby.]
So, it's probably just right in my locker if they sent me anything?
no subject
[The response is automatic, but not hollow. She looks good. It's nice when people occasionally notice. Well--when they're brave enough to say something, not just shoot covert looks at her.
It might take him a moment to adjust to leading, but she doesn't complain, just follows him to his ship, stride easy.]
Should be. Ours were, at least as far as I know. I didn't see everyone find theirs. There someplace else you spend a lot of time?
no subject
the ship is still open, so he just leads the way up the ramp and into the cargo hold, and he doesn't glance back as he answers--either focused on where he's going, or maybe casually skirting around something not wholly truthful.]
Yeah... I'm pretty busy, so I'm not home a lot.
no subject
Mm-hmm. Spend a lot of your time on the other ships? Funny I haven't run into you before now, if that's the case. It's not a big fleet.
no subject
organization is not the Three Twins' specialty.]
I do. Sometimes.
...Do you spend a lot of time on other ships?
no subject
Not that it mattered that much to her. Mainly, she slept in her office. And Polly ran a tight ship, so it might be small, but it was clean and squared away.]
I get around. Only so many things for a counselor to do on a ship that doesn't really do counseling.
no subject
[he definitely sounds shocked by the thought, and whatever surprises him most about it, it probably goes along with how he glances over to give her a reassessing up-and-down look.]
no subject
More like a therapist. I'm not about to prescribe anyone anything for their damages.
What, do I not look like a good listener?
[Yeah, she caught that look.]
no subject
and he shrugs a little as he reaches the hatch that leads down to his room and swings it open.]
I just imagined them to be, like... old and bald.
[and male.]
no subject
The hair's real. I promise.
Why'd you think that?
no subject
[and down he goes, clambering into his room. the light had been left on, but the room itself looks hardly touched--there's a small pile of very random belongings shoved under the cot, and a few articles of clothing lumped near the locker, but it's otherwise featureless. it doesn't even smell like a room that anyone spends any amount of time in.
and he goes right to his locker, opens it up, and--]
--Oh! These shorts? They weren't here before...
no subject
[She's not offended, of course, just amused. Following him down, she takes a quick look around, waiting in the tiny entrance.]
Those would be the ones, I guess. Shorts, though, guess you got lucky. I'm not sure I'd qualify everything Atroma sent the fleet as actual swimwear.
no subject
[and after holding the shorts up--which are actually pretty decent compared to what some other people received--to verify that they look like they'll fit him, he starts stripping down to change right there without batting an eye. because that's how it goes on the Three Twins.]
no subject
[Apparently modesty isn't his style, either. She's not shy, but then this isn't anything personal, from the way he shrugs his clothing off. Just business. She looks for a moment, then looks away to study the rest of the unlived-in room.]
You're either really clean, or not home very much.
no subject
[and modesty is definitely not a word in his vocabulary, if the mesh and patent leather he'd been walking around in hadn't been a clue. maybe he's just really dedicated to the club scene. he has the body of a dancer, at least.]
Oh... yeah. [what was the excuse he'd used before...?] I'm just... out doing stuff a lot of the time, I guess.
[and hey! shorts are on now, and he flounces into a little pose.]
--How do they look?
no subject
[Hey, you never know. Armor doesn't have to be made of steel. Some people wear fishnets and glitter when they march off to war. It all depends on your battlefield. She knows better than most not to judge, just observe.]
[And speaking of observing, he's clearly looking for approval, which he gets with a once-over and the quirk of an eyebrow.]
Not bad. Almost like a real boy. Come on, let's go show you to the world.
no subject
[he just offers a bland, smiling agreement with that first bit. yep, that's him--a busy little bee.
after that, he's quick to move on and follow instructions, heading right back to the ladder leading out of his bunk.]
So, do you come from a place like this? With a lot of swimming?
