JULY PLANET MINGLE
Who: YOU. ME. EVERYONE.
Broadcast: IF YOU WANT
Action: YEAH!!!!!
When: July!
[Congratulations to the crews that did not get themselves blown up! Welcome to the Blue Planet, a planet full of charming islands and even less charming weather patterns! Are you going to take the time to enjoy the beach? Help out with the local Nunnilis population? Get caught in a storm with another person and have a rating boosting sexual tension moment? The world's your oyster!]
[Yeah in other words: ITS A MINGLE GET IN HERE]

Yeah. Well, some of it was magic. But we had a lot of other power sources, too- Do you know what a 'turbine' is?

[Basic energy resource. Nothing like the arc reactor at Stark Tower, of course, but hey, they can't all have billionaire geniuses.]

[She flicks a finger at her glass, and a very small whirlwind forms over the juice, stirring it into a little whirlpool.]
Magic was for bigger things.
no subject
Bigger things, such as?

no subject
[Yeah, maybe she doesn't know all the answers, but Natasha does admit to vague interest over enhanced fruits and veggies. The Monsanto scientists would wet themselves over that possibility.]

I get curious, about other worlds. Magic isn't really a factor in mine.
[Sometimes if you give, you get.]

Just a world, more or less. People. Places. Things. Hard to describe without context. What do you want to know?

[The comment is dry, more sardonic than sarcastic.]
Manpower. Physical labor. We've got reasonably advanced technology, a lot of the same terminology you've used. Most of the people I've met so far here are from some sort of Earth parallel, past, present, or future.

Seems to be pretty unique, by all scientific accounts. Evolutionarily speaking, according to what I've heard. Or maybe it's all just a coincidence. Maybe every species out there just calls its planet "ground," or whatever the equivalent is.

[There's a definite note of amusement in her voice, noticeable even to a stranger like Nightingale. Humans, and gods, and monsters, and supersoldiers, and...people like her. Sure.]
Why's it annoying?
no subject
[oc problems :(]

[It's a simple observation, as long as you know what to listen for. Clear enough to Natasha, who can understand the sentiment. She misses home, where at least the complicated and dangerous were familiar.
Though more than enough familiar was popping up recently, or almost-familiar, at least.]
Think of it as an extended vacation. Or a psychotic break, if that makes you happier.
no subject
Shit, I'm going to need an actual drink if we keep on this topic.
no subject
What's your name?
no subject
Nightingale. Gray Nightingale of Takshaka, if you're after the full thing. You?
no subject
[Who she was before doesn't matter. Not if you've decided to play the game.]
I'd say nice to meet you, only I'm not entirely sure either of us exist.
no subject
[She can't help but give a short, mirthless laugh.]
Depending on how technical you want to get, I'm certain I don't exist, so...

This place seems to have a weird sense of humor when it comes to crew placement. I guess it could be randomized, but sometimes it just seems a little too scripted.
[Natasha cocks an eyebrow at the last part of that.]
There's levels of technicality to existence?
((email tagging, sorry for default icons))

Oh, all of this place is scripted. Hell, this whole planet's probably the Atroma planning everything.
