Who: Tekhetsio
Broadcast: Network | Open
Action: SS Pathstone
When: November 15
[he doesn't turn the video feed on because he looks like shit. he can't even keep his mask properly in place, so the rest of the Fleet does not need to see him looking so inhuman and a little cadaverous. the fact that he can't even hide from his crew is bad enough.]
...This is getting absurd.
[his voice is sharp and quite stressed. he has completely run out of patience.]
Has no one come up with an answer for this thing yet? Honestly? ...Isn't anyone the least bit concerned with how... ugh...
[and his voice then trails off as he backs a step away from the receiver.
the entire fleet is then treated to the distinct sound of sickened retching... followed by a few clatters... and something small, wet, and heavy hitting the floor.
anyone aboard the SS Pathstone and happening by the network station that Tek is using will have it a little worse, however. he has puked up a little bit of a mess--mostly consisting of oily black liquid, a couple of half-digested coins... and a shiny red gem.
oops.]

And I don't exactly feel up to being experimented on, strange as that might sound.

...I don't think you're understanding what my concern is, here.

[voice so flat. just telling it like it is.]
It has nothing to do with whether or not you're going to 'be gentle.'

I assure you I can keep confidentiality if that's what you're worried about - and at this stage I wouldn't suggest sticking anything in you for keeps. Of course, we hardly know each other, so I can't blame you for not trusting me, but I do wonder exactly what you're worried about me doing.

[especially that 'for keeps' part. he's a little alarmed that he can't imagine what else she could possibly mean.
human science and medicine is still more of a mystery to him than he realizes...]

give him a minute to reconsider his life choices.]
...I'm not leaving my ship.

even considering allowing her to do this is like pulling out his own fingernails.]
At least pretend to not be so excited about this, alright?

Finally a chance to touch this nonhuman. ♥]
All right, all right.
Call me in anytime.

just a short text message buzzing in on her communicator with his name and the coordinates of which waystation his ship is parked at.]

Probably not. And she feels kind of crappy herself, but this is motivational! So it's a fairly short while later that she's moseying on over to his ship and letting herself on there. She got a kit together on the off chance that he'd say yes, so there's not even much of a wait after her ship comes in. She'll buzz to be let on.]

he almost falls asleep there, but at least the buzzer will only blare once, instead of over and over until someone on this ship deigns to open it.
he hits the control to open the hatch and just waits. slumped where he's sitting, peeking up from where his folded arms had been a pillow just enough to eye her as she enters.]

Anyway, he's easy to spot. She comes nearer, but stops a respectable distance away and drops to a crouch.]
Where would you like to do this?
no subject
Do we need to go somewhere else? The other rooms are somewhat occupied.
[there's a demon in his bed and the lab is full of potatoes.]

She highballed and came with four vials, visible nestled in padding.]

You throw those out the minute that you're done with your tests, understand?
And no one else gets to play with it or sample it in the meantime.
