I can say with 100% certainty that no one from home is watching this.
Besides all the problems like receiving broadcasts from other worlds and such, and relative technology levels.
I've heard that our homes are essentially frozen in time while we're here.
Or something a bit more complicated, but that's essentially how it is.

I really hope not. This never struck me as anything my family'd actually watch.

As for having a Livejournal? Not always. You always got the over-the-top, melodramatic rants, but you also had people sharing recipes. It was a mixed bag.

[He reads the teenager's account, and it matches up with everything he's ever heard about teenagers. But he finds himself stuck on the part from people from home watching them. Steven had wondered that when he arrived; although Pearl dismissed the possibility at a time, now he wonders it again.

What if everyone back home really was watching them? They could all be worrying about him being in space right now. Dad, Garnet, Amethyst. Connie. Lion. Lars, Sadie, Jamie, Buck, Sour Cream, Jenny, Kiki, Peedee, Ronaldo, Steven Jr., Nanefua, Kofi, Mr. Fryman, Mr. Smiley, Vidalia, Yellowtail, Barbara, Mayor Dewey, the Maheswarans, the Watermelon Stevens, Lapis, Peridot... maybe even Onion and Jasper were worried about him.

With all that in mind, Steven knows what he must do. He has no idea of telling if he's being broadcast at this very moment, so he just turns on the video feed in response to the text message. Steven puts on his biggest smile and waves meekly.]

Hey everybody! It's me, Steven! [He pauses for about half a minute there. He knows that he's hilarious, so he figures that the tv people will want to put a laugh track there.]

I'm okay! You don't have to worry about me. I'm fine, and I'll be home in no time! But, um, find a way to contact space if the Earth needs me anytime soon! Peridot, Jasper, if you're watching this, can you please put any really bad plans on hold for a while? Everyone, take a vacation!

[Time to pause for another laugh track. He tries to stand still, his hand in a waving position and his smile increasingly strained.]

That is what Atroma is telling us, though it is up to you to decide if anyone is, in fact, watching. I have found that it is hard to determine the motives and truths of some unknown, sentient entity. The only difference between Atroma and Paradisa so far is that Paradisa was a Castle - and quite a bit more helpful in the provision of necessities.
