[Rick woke up, realized he wasn't where he was a second ago -- the breakfast table -- and immediately found a terminal. No brainwave jammer. Not good. Without knowing exactly where he is in terms of Federation space, he could be very actively screwed.
The terminal doesn't seem to be cooperating a lot, actually, so Rick throws it across the room (it's hand-sized, which makes for convenient throwing), then stoops to pick it up. He's fiddling with it as he walks around, scowling, not really paying attention to where he's going.]
