second dream ☼ video + action. { seventy-six trombones led the big parade }

Who: Rapunzel & YOU
Broadcast: Video
Action: Y for Three Twins
When: Thursday, October 8

[ VIDEO ]

[ rapunzel appears on the video feed looking very DETERMINED. she has that look in her eye, that there is work to be done, and she is going to make sure it happens! she means business.

business pertaining to only the most serious and essential of matters, of course. ]

Good afternoon, everyone! If I may have your attention please. Do you have a musical talent that you have been YEARNING to stretch for months? Or maybe you are itching to learn how to play or sing and express yourself through the undeniable power of song!

[ she emphasizes this with a dramatic flourish of her arms. ] So! I was wondering if anyone out there in the fleet would be interested in joining a musical group with me and Steven! You don't have to have an instrument. You don't even need to know how to play! You just need a desire to create a song from the heart. We could even use spare parts from our ships to make new instruments! Doesn't that sound fun?

[ it sounds fun. you know it does. ]

Aside from that...I've also been wondering about starting a garden. I know it probably sounds silly, because - space! But I've always wanted to start one, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to see if anyone had any ideas.

Thank you, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

[ yes, even you! rapunzel waves cheerily at the camera before the feed ends. ]

[ ACTION ]

[ for those aboard the s.s. three twins, or those visiting, rapunzel can be found in the kitchen, singing while she cooks. she's feeling particularly adventurous today, trying out new and unusual combinations of pastes and dried food and other strange spices she picked up on the moon.

taste-testing guinea pigs welcome! ]

It's a movie genre, actually. Romantic comedy. I guess they can be pretty bouncy—moodways.

[She's making it a little hard to be as douchey about them as usual, tbh.]

[Welp.]

Oh man, no one's shown you a movie yet. [Trufax, Davesprite actually loves movies. He became a director in another life.] Ok, you know the broadcasts people do—like the one you just did, actually, where you talked to us live—well, movies are a prescripted version of that.

You get a bunch of people together, who take on fabricated roles and air out their drama to the general public. Kind of like this hypothetical show we're on, only with a level of fictitiousness that makes it less creepy. And with a fuckload more disclosure.

They're like two hour entertainment blocks. A little play inside your TV.

Oh. Sure. What kind of movie would you want to see?

[At least he knows better than to sit her down with something like Starsky & Hutch...]

[DOES HE HAVE ANY MOVIES IMMEDIATELY ON HAND THAT FALL UNDER EITHER CATEGORY...

Oh christ, he has Shrek.]

I got a couple that might meet that criteria. One of them is animated, though. Like—picture book style, only it moves.

—Oh, yeah, and you don't have any bird allergies, right.
