Has... anyone else been having weird dreams lately, or just me?

Also, what do people do for fun around here? This is the longest I've ever been cooped up in one place. At least if there was something to do...

Anyway, I'm sick of meditating. If anyone wants to come chat or keep me company, I'm sitting in the living area. Does anyone know if they have a dejarik board around here? I'm not much good at it, but it's a good time waster at least.

There's something... wrong with the Republic. With the Order, too. But-- I'm just one person. What can I do? I forfeited all my rights and privileges as a Jedi. I'm just a civilian now.

Hey, me too. And I never really meant to challenge everything but... I did things without thinking, and I'm still alive. Probably.

I made them change the rules of the game, and, I guess, inspired other people.

No, actually. We have a thing called the Hunger Games. I volunteered so my little sister wouldn't have to go. 24 kids go into an arena, and only 1 comes out alive, usually. I managed to keep myself and my friend alive.

I just... I wouldn't know where to start. I don't... actually know what the problem is. Just that something feels off. What do I even do with that?

My best friend... she bombed the Temple because she was so convinced that things were wrong. Hundreds of innocent people died. Even if I agree with what she said... what she did was horrible. I don't-- I don't ever want to turn out like that.

Definitely don't do that.

[Ahsoka shakes her head viciously.]

What did they break your faith about?

Just... the stuff I mentioned earlier. [Ahsoka shifts awkwardly, considering whether or not she wants to get into this now.]

... I was ... framed for a crime I didn't commit. Terrorism, sedition, treason and murder. The Jedi Order operates independently from Galactic Law, so ... the Senate put pressure on them to expel me so I could be tried in the Supreme Court as a civilian.

I grew up in that Order. They're the only family I've ever known. The Jedi Code is sacred to me. I fought in their war for three years, without question. I thought they stood for-- for justice, for morals and goodness.

But when I was framed... none of that mattered. Nobody would listen to me. They preferred to bend to the pressure of the Senate rather than stick to their own Code. [She tries to keep the bitterness out of her voice when she says that, but she fails miserably. The wound is still too fresh.]

The Code might be sacred, but people will always figure out a way to corrupt things and screw things up.

... I guess so.

It's just... the Jedi are supposed to be neutral. Independent of the Republic. But... it's clear to me now that that's not true any more. Now they answer to the Republic. And... I didn't see it until then.

I hope you can change things.

But even if I can't... I'll settle just for helping others.
