... well, this is a great deal more ... I am not entirely sure what this is. [There certainly were a lot more pipes. All over the damned place.]

Quieter? Back to whatever passes for normal here?
no subject
...I have not been given cause to believe anything around here could be considered normal in the slightest.
[His reply is dry, but he does look at her with keen interest.] And to whom do I have the pleasure of speaking, my Lady?
no subject
And I'm Nova, but you don't have to do the "my lady" thing.
What's your name?

Yeah. I've got a security augment, and I've been here for a few months.

[He gives her a crooked smile.] I will be your engineer for this particular voyage -- not entirely sure if we have more than one ... but we shall see soon enough.
no subject
Do you wanna go get something to eat?
[ indicates toward the galley ]
no subject
[He puts a hand on his stomach.] Yes. I suppose that would be wise ... very astute of you, to fuel yourself before anything else.

I can't say there's anything that's really good, unless Souji's been in there already today.
[ starts heading that direction ]
no subject
[He answers drolly, hobbling along beside her. This ship is much, much smaller than the other larger vessel.] Who is Souji, and how does this person make the food any more tolerable?
no subject
[ ta-da, a kitchen. there's a drink dispenser and a spice rack above the sink and all manner of "substitutes" in the pantry ]
Are you in the mood for meat-like product? We might actually have some of the genuine stuff in here.
no subject
[He takes it all in - his mind supplying the names of things he did not recognize.]
... Is it actual meat or more of this product?

[Came his wry reply.] But at least they are feeding us. And it is a sight better than moldy bread and water.

Spartan? Worryingly like a prison? It seems we're stationed on the same ship.

Master Lupin, I have not been abandoned to the edges of space without a familiar face.
[He looks around.] Hmmmm. I concur with all of the statements - but at least it is dry, and there is a lack of rats. So far, at any rate. Have you looked around our new environment?

[If Tyrion is a fellow reader-- and he is, obviously, a fact which Remus is quite pleased to discover-- he'll enjoy this. A gift from their captors, and what kind of friend would he be not to share? Remus ducks into his room and grabs the one book he's been gifted with: a worn copy of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.]
Here. I don't know why they thought to give it to me, but you're welcome to it, if you'd like. It's an old textbook of mine from school. My friends rather attacked it with quills, there's all kinds of stupid comments, and the book itself isn't really applicable, I mean, there aren't any of the beasts you'll read about here, but-- [He's rambling. Remus shakes his head, trying to shut himself up.] In any case. You're welcome to it.

[Tyrion's eyes widen as Remus offers his book - clearly there are not a lot of books on their own ship, so this in itself is a treat. Which means, of course, he must share. He takes out his copy of Nine Wonders Of Westeros, carefully offering it in turn.]
I would be honored, but only if you would take this volume to borrow in return.
no subject
Of course. I-- god, thank god, I was going mad without something new. Thank you-- is it nonfictional?
no subject
It is. A famous telling of all the most well known places in my homeland.
