[So when Tyrion awoke, again, he found himself in a new cot, with ... sigh, all of his weapons gone again. He sat up, running a hand over his scarred face as he looked around this new ship with an amused sort of look.]

... well, this is a great deal more ... I am not entirely sure what this is. [There certainly were a lot more pipes. All over the damned place.]

Quieter? Back to whatever passes for normal here?

...I have not been given cause to believe anything around here could be considered normal in the slightest.

[His reply is dry, but he does look at her with keen interest.] And to whom do I have the pleasure of speaking, my Lady?

Well, no. It's all pretty messed up.

And I'm Nova, but you don't have to do the "my lady" thing.

'Messed up', common slang and yet it fits so very well. [Tyrion rubbed his face, as he hobbled to his feet, and went over to offer the young woman his hand.] Tyrion Lannister, of House Lannister, which means nothing here -- so just call me Tyrion. A pleasure, Nova. Are we to be crewmates?

[Oh, that's a voice he recognizes. Remus follows the sound of Tyrion's voice and stands in the doorframe.]

Spartan? Worryingly like a prison? It seems we're stationed on the same ship.

[Tyrion actually brightens at the sound of that voice - if nothing else it is someone he knows.]

Master Lupin, I have not been abandoned to the edges of space without a familiar face.

[He looks around.] Hmmmm. I concur with all of the statements - but at least it is dry, and there is a lack of rats. So far, at any rate. Have you looked around our new environment?

Not in any detail. I've met a few of our crewmates, though-- everyone's quite friendly. There's a sad lack of books, but that's something I suspect I'll have to remedy myself.

Hmmm, and something I shall have to assist you with. [He pushed himself off the cot.] We can no more live without books than we can with ... whatever they consider food.

[She's set herself in her Captain's chair and she won't be moving for much. She's a little subdued from the calibrations and losing her Warboy, but her cockpit is open if anyone wants to talk.]

[ so, maybe stiles hasn't done the greatest job of introducing himself to everyone else on the ship, but he's at least familiar with faces. he stands in the doorway, awkwardly lifting a hand in greeting. ]

She could be better than she is, currently. She swivels around in her seat to look at him, and gives a little half-wave back with her scrap-piece prosthetic.

[ his eyes cut to the prosthetic, but only briefly, before he ticks them back to her face. ]

Was sort of afraid we were gonna be stuck there longterm. Think I was about to go stir-crazy.

[ Nova is hanging out in the galley, staring at the ceiling, with some partially eaten protein paste on the table in front of her ]

Is it just me, or is this even more prison-like than before? Because that's what we needed.

[He glances over at her. He ought to introduce himself to his new crewmates, he thinks, but it's easier in thought than practice. Remus hesitates for a long moment before taking a seat across from her.]

I suppose a few coats of paint might help, but the pipes are rather off-putting, aren't they? My name is Remus. I'm new here.

[ oh. hey. she's an intrinsically awkward person, so she feeds off of his energy, while trying to be lighthearted ]

Hey. There are some new faces, yeah.

And it'd probably take not, you know, being in space for this place to not feel like a jail cell to me.

[If they try and meet halfway maybe they can do this. Remus smiles at her-- nervous, yeah, but trying.]

I try not to ask for the impossible. Have you been here long?

We could always swap ships again. Hop to something a little more cheerful.

[ he bumps her shoulder with his. it's clearly a joke - he doesn't mean it. no real point in hopping from one sort-of prison to another, right? ]

Somehow I don't think it'll really make a difference. Anyway, I'm getting used to our crewmates.

[ he slides his arm around her, idly tugging her up against his side. ]

As long as you're not bonding too much with Isaac.

[ this is stiles. this is stiles, without the resources of the marsiva to entertain him, standing in the kitchen and stacking solid protein as high as he can. he is, apparently, trying to make a tower of the stuff.
