[So when Tyrion awoke, again, he found himself in a new cot, with ... sigh, all of his weapons gone again. He sat up, running a hand over his scarred face as he looked around this new ship with an amused sort of look.]

... well, this is a great deal more ... I am not entirely sure what this is. [There certainly were a lot more pipes. All over the damned place.]

[She's set herself in her Captain's chair and she won't be moving for much. She's a little subdued from the calibrations and losing her Warboy, but her cockpit is open if anyone wants to talk.]

[ Nova is hanging out in the galley, staring at the ceiling, with some partially eaten protein paste on the table in front of her ]

Is it just me, or is this even more prison-like than before? Because that's what we needed.

'Messed up', common slang and yet it fits so very well. [Tyrion rubbed his face, as he hobbled to his feet, and went over to offer the young woman his hand.] Tyrion Lannister, of House Lannister, which means nothing here -- so just call me Tyrion. A pleasure, Nova. Are we to be crewmates?

[ shakes his hand in return ]

Yeah. I've got a security augment, and I've been here for a few months.

Ah-hah ... someone with some access to weaponry. That is comforting, indeed.

[He gives her a crooked smile.] I will be your engineer for this particular voyage -- not entirely sure if we have more than one ... but we shall see soon enough.

Maybe. I haven't really done a headcount since we came back.

Do you wanna go get something to eat?

[ indicates toward the galley ]

Perhaps we should -- of course that is probably a responsibility of the captain himself. Or ... herself.

[He puts a hand on his stomach.] Yes. I suppose that would be wise ... very astute of you, to fuel yourself before anything else.

I can't say there's anything that's really good, unless Souji's been in there already today.

[ starts heading that direction ]

If it is not moldy bread and tepid water ... it will be above some of my recent meals as of late.

[He answers drolly, hobbling along beside her. This ship is much, much smaller than the other larger vessel.] Who is Souji, and how does this person make the food any more tolerable?

He's our cook, and a nice guy. And I don't know how he does it, I'm terrible at cooking.

[ ta-da, a kitchen. there's a drink dispenser and a spice rack above the sink and all manner of "substitutes" in the pantry ]

Are you in the mood for meat-like product? We might actually have some of the genuine stuff in here.

Well, you are not alone. I am fairly certain that I could burn water, if I was given the opportunity.

[He takes it all in - his mind supplying the names of things he did not recognize.]

[Oh, that's a voice he recognizes. Remus follows the sound of Tyrion's voice and stands in the doorframe.]

Spartan? Worryingly like a prison? It seems we're stationed on the same ship.

[He glances over at her. He ought to introduce himself to his new crewmates, he thinks, but it's easier in thought than practice. Remus hesitates for a long moment before taking a seat across from her.]

I suppose a few coats of paint might help, but the pipes are rather off-putting, aren't they? My name is Remus. I'm new here.

[ oh. hey. she's an intrinsically awkward person, so she feeds off of his energy, while trying to be lighthearted ]

Hey. There are some new faces, yeah.

And it'd probably take not, you know, being in space for this place to not feel like a jail cell to me.

[If they try and meet halfway maybe they can do this. Remus smiles at her-- nervous, yeah, but trying.]

I try not to ask for the impossible. Have you been here long?

A few months, and I was somewhere else before here. I mean, somewhere not my world. It was called Aather.

[He blinks. He's adapted himself to the thought that people are from different worlds-- it isn't such a far-fetched thought, after all-- but it's a little startling to hear that someone's jumped from world to world.]
