visiting, god help us all
[A]
[ No doubt that exploration will cause him to run into a few people in the process, particularly when he's drawn to the kitchen just out of the interest of comparing it to the one he himself works in back on the Huntress. Sasuke does, however, wait until everyone is completely out of sight before dismantling the Blue Fish's poor innocent blender, pocketing the blades, and leaving a ruined appliance on the countertop for anyone to find.
Otherwise you may find him poking around the halls, cargo hold, or just about anywhere else on the ship. He's thorough. ]
[B]
[ The more horrifying option is that maybe you planned to visit Zuko in his personnel room, aka the spot Sasuke was looking for in the first place. Because he's just going to set himself up inside while the junior firelord is out, complete with a cup of tea and a new sword that he's patiently sharpening with one hand.
This is much more comfortable than his room on the Huntress. The doctor is definitely not in. ]
B.
sasuke, really, had been the most emotionally draining. but he seems to be settling in alright, so zuko can take a break now.
but he knows something is off when he opens the door, though. it's dark, and he can hear the grating of the sharpening swords, and zuko can feel there's a presence in the room. he immediately creates a ball of flames to light the room, almost ready to beat the shit out of whoever broke into his room, because with his luck, it'd be fucking azula --
-- but. ]
-- Sasuke?
no subject
So you're here. You should close the door while you're already over there. [ Otherwise the fox might run out, even if it seems rather sedate at the moment. ]
... Do you need something?
MY KEYWORDS ARE STILL THE SAME FROM ADSTRING PLEASE EXAMINE KEYWORDS LMAO
zuko, meanwhile, just looks incredulous, and turns on the light, dissipating with the fire. ]
-- how did you even get in here?
{ pause ]
Why are you in here?
ZUKO YOU PUNK
And I'm here because I couldn't sleep.
no subject
-- so you came here.
[ uncertainly, and zuko closes the door behind him. ]
Why couldn't you sleep?
no subject
But outwardly he couldn't seem calmer, using a cloth now to wipe that blade clean. ] I knew you had this spare room. The rest is obvious.
no subject
zuko has a feeling this is not going to be the last time he finds sasuke breaking into his room. ]
Most of the people on your ship seem to be nice.
[ as he moves over to his desk to sit up on top of it, ignoring the sleeping fox. sasuke, apparently, has taken the couch. but then he pauses, glances at the sword -- and the stolen tea, before he leans back and pulls open a drawer in the desk, almost to see how much sasuke searched. ]
You could've relocked the drawers.
[ stop picking the locks you fucking weirdo ]
no subject
I could have. [ Said simply enough, apparently satisfied enough with the work he's done to carefully slip that sword back into the sheath he's placed to rest against the couch. It's irritating how many small things he has to set up in advance to accommodate a new one-handed lifestyle. ]
One of them attacked me, one tried to trick me into opening the airlock, and one is already afraid of me. I suppose they're what I expected. Yours are all your friends, aren't they?
no subject
Some of them are from my world. Toph, Sokka, and Katara. The rest of them aren't.
[ he considers some acquaintances (like the starks), and some friends (like beverly and allen), but toph, sokka, and katara are special. ]
no subject
Ino claims she's the only one from mine. I suppose that remains good news for me.
no subject
[ fuck your entire family, but. ]
Naruto and Sakura were nice enough.
[ zuko ignores the sudden pawing of the now awake fox who 100% heard his name. the small thing is clingy af. ]
no subject
... yeah, they are. [ Saying it is like pulling teeth, but it's the truth. ] It's strange already, not being able to sense him. During the war...
Well, it probably isn't important.

B!
[ admittedly, katara seems a little baffled when she steps into the personnel room, but her expression is amiable regardless. she lifts a hand in greeting, expression openly curious. ]
I guess you're visiting Zuko?
[ rekindling that friendship didn't take long... ]
no subject
I'm visiting his room. [ That's it. ]
Who are you?
no subject
[ it's not really challenging, but her eyebrows have gone slightly up. ]
I'm a friend of his. Katara. I knew you in Adstring, too. I mean, not you-you-- a version of you.
no subject
[ He's lost count of how many it is by now, but his attention soon lowers back down to the sword he's working on. ] I'm here to occupy an empty dark room with comfortable furniture, which should be easy to understand. I don't know where he is if you're looking for him, but I'd assume in his other room.
no subject
You don't have your own room?
[ this is the most inexplicable thing to happen to her this week. ]
no subject
I have a room. [ ... yeah. Like this is totally normal. ] Pass me that cloth on the desk.
no subject
So you're waiting for Zuko.
[ nothing makes sense anymore ]
no subject
No. I have said this three times now. I'm using his furniture.
no subject
Sorry, I guess I'm just not... getting it. [ her eyes tick back up to his face. ] Did you ask him or stage an invasion?
no subject
[ So. The second one. ] Are you worried about his privacy? [ It's cool, he already went through all the drawers. He doesn't need to do it again. ]
no subject
[ she wrinkles his nose a little at his question. ]
And what privacy? If what they say is true, millions of people are watching us all the time anyway.
[ oh, sasuke. you're just like she remembered. ]
