Who: Nunnally "Lamperouge"
Broadcast: Open; Video
Action: SS Blue Fish
When: Half an hour after the fleet shuffle (01/02)
Good evening. I believe there are quite a few people here that I am not acquainted with. My name is Nunnally Lamperouge, and it is a pleasure to meet all of you. [She smiles slightly. It seems like a natural smile-- aside from the formality of her speech, it's hard to tell that she's feeling quite tense at the moment]
But to those that I am acquainted with, h-hello again. [she sounds a bit awkward saying it, which she doesn't enjoy but she's not sure how else to put it, you know?] I'm not... quite sure what became of me for the last few months. It didn't seem as if any time has passed, but the next thing I knew I was awake again on the Marsiva, and time had passed without my knowledge. It seems I've been reassigned to a new ship and-- [she trails off for a moment] hopefully my skills aren't too rusty.
I suppose... that's all I wished to say. Thank you for your time, everyone.
[and, anyone on the Blue Fish will find a random young girl wheeling around the ship in a fancy motor-powered wheelchair. Even though she seems quite perplexed, she will make an effort to smile politely and wave at anyone that she encounters]

It's nice to see you again.

It's really good to see you too. Even if... it feels like it was only yesterday.

there's that same tension, hesitation to actually believe it, but he barely thinks when he flicks the video switch on. he's in his face of paint, like usual. familiar dark circles and sharp lines. he's got to catch her before she disappears.]
--Nunnally.

Mm, I'm back. I'm-- [she pauses, a little embarrassed. She realizes this is a selfish thing to say, but still she says it] it's good to see you.
video
[on some instinctual level, this doesn't make any sense to him. people don't ever leave his life and then just come back. Coil was a freak coincidence with a whole bunch of drawbacks. he can't get this lucky twice.]
You're-- all right? [he even manages to make it sound kind of like a question.]

also... guess how much of all of that he actually listened to.]
Oh, hey! Haven't seen you in a while.
[the answer is absolutely none of it.]
video
It seems that way. How have you been? I'm sorry that I was out of touch for so long.
video
[which is, of course, the most superficial and borderline-untrue answer he possibly could have said. it's just automatic; he moves right on from it.]
How've you been?
[...he might never fully realize that she actually left the fleet.]

( That's not reassuring at all, given she's back here. Even if they leave, somehow, they can be pulled back into the show? That's not escaping. That's not even getting to really stay away, and now Joshua's gone. Does that mean he might be back in months, too?
Trying to add something like good humor to her voice as she goes on: )
It's still a... pleasure to meet you, even with circumstances being less than pleasant. I'm Ella.
no subject
[aw, but onto happier conversations. She smiles a bit] It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Ella. Have you been here long?
no subject
( She slept a month through, she's not been awake the whole time she's been here. Not that she feels that's... at all a common thing that happens, either. Henry was congratulating her on being alive. )
Time will tell for the rest. However much of it each of us does or doesn't have, which seems to get trickier here.

You alright?

How have the weeks treated you, Kaneis?
Video
Well enough. You missed a planet, but it was really snowy and cold, so it wasn't that great.

Hey, welcome to the Blue Fish. I'm Sokka, your Captain for the foreseeable future. [And because it's weird.] You said you were missing for some months?
no subject
It's a pleasure to meet you, Captain. Ah.... do you have any preference for how you'd like to be addressed? [chain of command is a big deal in her world]
no subject
I didn't know this place would just...send people away and bring them back. That's...really weird. [He gives a shrug.] But hey, you're on the awesome ship now, and that's what really matters.

[ miyuki looks both impressed and a little concerned, hands laced together before one goes to her chest. ]
I'm Miyuki Hoshizora! I'm sure you'll be just fine, Lamperouge-san.

It's nice to meet you! And please, call me Nunnally. [...]
Are you Japanese?

[SHE SHOULD BE AT HOME but.]
I'm glad you're all right! How do you feel? Do you remember anything? Did you go home? I see Zhas caught you!
voice
I, ah-- no, I didn't return home. [thank goodness] I remember deciding to take a nap because I was feeling ill, and then when I woke up I was aboard the Marsiva. Physically I feel fine now, just a little stiff.
