Chocolate-flavored Dessert Cream on the House
[The bunks are filling up, but the new faces just keep appearing!
Are you a travel-weary passenger having trouble keeping your crew roster straight? Perhaps you are a fresh new recruit, finding themselves dumped into a new (and much less shiny) home. Or, maybe you've been around for a little bit and just haven't bothered meeting the other weirdos on this ship yet--what is their problem, anyway?
Well, this is the place for you!
All new passengers from the last few Shuffles, especially those who haven't met their crews yet, are welcome to post starter-comments here to invite those living on and visiting your ship to come and interact. Newbies could be just arriving on the ship, busying around where others can find them, or you can offering multiple options for interaction--however you'd like to set up your thread is fine. Just make sure to include the name of your ship in the header, so your crewmates can easily find you!
Everyone else-- go meet those newbies! Whether they are new to your own crew, or on ships you frequently visit, now is a great time to bump into them.]

At least he hasn't bitten or anything right? ]

And it's also true that there was a time in her life when she would've considered awakening to a strange body in her bed a wonderful potential adventure worth exploring. But so much has changed, and now as she begins to place herself in the appropriate reality, her body tenses up at the feeling of a face tucked into her throat.
She wants it to be real. Oh god, she aches for it to be real. But it can't be.
But it also is. Which is what finally causes her to pull back and wriggle out of his grasp as much as she can, propping herself up on one elbow and squinting down at him. He won't get any violence this time, just a brisk shake of one shoulder and a totally baffled look when his eyes open.]
And who on earth are you?
ahh I'm sorry for the slow, timezones ;;
On reflex he tries to curl his arms around Celeste, but as she's no longer there it doesn't work so well. That more than anything else gets him the crack fully dilated gold eyes open, blinking blearily into the faintly-illuminated room with a healthy dose of incomprehension. He's certain there was someone in this bed when he crawled into i--oh. There she is. Talking to him. ]
...Sascha... [ He sounds groggy and tired, because he is. And he also isn't going to do more than drop his head down again comfortably, though it's at least turned her way so he can look at her proper. ]
for stranger cuddling, i can brave timezones <3
Now. Why are you in my bed?
awwwww
You're super-comfy.
no subject
[Oh jeez, did he just call her comfy? That's... oddly complimentary to a tall, very skinny girl, and she's visibly mollified by it.]
- I'm sure you could find comfier, Sascha, I'm a bone rack.
no subject
I dunno if I have my own bed though, I haven't checked.

[Her tone and expression are perfectly flat. She's got no idea what to make of this bloke, not a single clue. But - well, he doesn't seem to want more than a place to sleep and a warm body in it, and wouldn't she like the same? Hasn't she been missing it horribly?
Really, wouldn't she do a lot more with a lot less information in Eudio, and just for kicks rather than to soothe a deep ache inside her?]
Oh, alright, fine. Get comfortable again. [She stretches out on her back, arms out to give him maximum cuddling space.] You would've loved the last city I was in.
no subject
What kind of city was it??

She wraps her arms around him once he's in place, and if she lets out a quiet, wistful sigh, it's only because being perfect still doesn't make him right. But she'll take what she can get here.]
It ran on cuddles. Quite literally, physical contact was the way it generated energy. You would've been right at home there.
... then again, everything there did need to be consensual to keep it from descending into Sodom and Gomorrah, so a stunt like this actually would have had you out on your ear on your first day. [She gives a quiet, teasing laugh.] Shame about that.
no subject
It doesn't make him hungry though. It's just a pleasant smell, one that makes her even more of a joy to be resting against as he closes his eyes. ]
no subject
[Almost in spite of herself, she nuzzles her face into his hair. She really doesn't know a thing about him, but if this is all he asks, it could easily become a regular arrangement; it really is far more comforting than it has any right to be.]
no subject
He's happier enjoying the way she actually nuzzles into him, and if he were younger he'd be brimming with pleasure. Possibly squirming. But he's too tired for that right now so he just soaks up the attention instead, delighted. ]
no subject
What's really got you climbing into strangers' beds? Are you lonely or something?
[There's no sting in the question, either of accusation or mockery. She's terribly lonely, after all.]

[Her voice tightens a bit.]
I wake up reaching for him sometimes. I hadn't thought it was long enough to get that used to it.

no subject
Yes, a boyfriend. My first boyfriend. By choice, mind you, he was the first that ever...
[Well. A lot of things. Her past attractions had obstacles galore, but he was definitely the first to make himself so worth it that she fought through every single one instead of running or hiding.]
... we're not split up. It's just going to be a long time until we can see each other again.
no subject
[ No really, he is. Sascha would love to have...well, love. In general. At least he sounds earnest? ]
no subject
[She sounds sad, though, not sharp. After a little pause, she adjusts her head so that she can look at him more closely.]
Have you ever had a - boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever. A partner?
no subject
Not as far as I know...nope. [ Or at least not since becoming a vampire. ] I'd like to though, love sounds nice.
