[ It's another day, another planet for the Drift Fleet to explore. Whether it be relaxing in the landing field, checking out the spa (and subsequently getting urged to enter the woods), or taking on the Enchanted Forest's game, there's enough to do for stir-crazy Fleet members.

Just remember one thing: make it look good. ]

[WOULD IT? the jury is still out. he ends up rubbing his neck and looking back at the exit. "conflicted" would be his middle name if it wasn't already "bad at basic human interaction".]

Or is it that I've frightened you! My dear Zhas, let me assure you, I'm entirely harmless.

[theboogieman]

[oh. okay.

his attention snaps back to shoot Garak a dirty look--and it doesn't take him long to walk back up to the edge of the pool and crouch closer to eye level. his eyes are very normal-looking under all this light. his glare isn't nearly as sharp.]

What do I do.

[Oh, boys of a certain age certainly are predictable. Garak doesn't laugh, but it's a close thing.]

Simply enjoy the water!

[theboogieman]

[ugh, he's so friendly. it's bothersome. Zhas makes a sound that's probably a sigh.]

Clothes.

[parricida]

Generally not advised.

[theboogieman]

[uuuugh.]

Where do I put them.

[parricida]

My dear, am I going to have to walk you through how to shed your clothes as well?

[theboogieman]

[he stares at him for a moment, dead-eyed, before reaching with great care towards the surface of the water...

so that he can try to splash Garak in the face.]

[parricida]

[He darts to the side, because he's not stupid, and he's not going to let Zhas get one up on him like that.]

Now, now. Don't be sulky.

[theboogieman]

[you'd think he'd be more frustrated that he missed--but something about the exchange makes him smirk, just a little, even if it's a mean one.

fine, fine. if he's not getting instructions, he'll stand, walk around to the other side of this pool, and... start taking his clothes off. shirt first, revealing the large tattoo of a celtic cross down his right side.

also perfect abs but who doesn't have those around here.]

[Well, Garak, actually, and for the second time he wishes he'd been kidnapped in his prime. It's hardly fair for everyone to be so young and fit when he's not-- but such is life. Instead of self-pity, Garak focuses on the tattoo, somewhat interested.]

Might I ask what that is on your ribs?

[theboogieman]

[maybe Garak can take solice in the fact that Zhas' abs are basically his only selling point. his personality sure isn't doing him any favors. he looks down at his own side, eyeing the lines for a moment, before settling on the floor to pry his heavy boots off.]

[well, off go the rest of his clothes. he'll just sink down into the pool and try to make it seem as nonchalant and not-weird as possible. nnnnoooot gonna think about it.]

[HAH too bad his body language is all but screaming discomfort. Garak waits patiently until he's settled down before saying cheerily:]

Why, my dear, do relax. I have nothing but the most pleasant intentions toward you.

[theboogieman]

[Zhas, who has possibly never relaxed a day in his life, just sinks sullenly deeper until only his eyes and the top of his head are above the surface of the water.

how long can he hold his breath for? maybe he'll just drown. that'd be nice.]
