[ It's another day, another planet for the Drift Fleet to explore. Whether it be relaxing in the landing field, checking out the spa (and subsequently getting urged to enter the woods), or taking on the Enchanted Forest's game, there's enough to do for stir-crazy Fleet members.

Just remember one thing: make it look good. ]

[Axel regards Riku and then goes back to his game, shaking his head.]

Haven't seen him yet. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that he's the sort to show up late--he probably got distracted. [He turns the game off and shoves his communicator into his pocket, then folds his arms and looks at Riku again.]

No, it seems everyone's hearing something, and nobody seems to be hearing the same thing, either. It's really weird. The signal was coming from this planet, but I don't see any communication towers or anything, so... [He shrugs.] I don't get it, and it's a little creepy, but it's not just you, for sure.

We can't let everyone else have all the fun.

[ he says it simply, crossing his arms before he turns to lea. ]

[Lea looks a little affronted by the question and frowns.]

A little ditty called None'a Your Beeswax. It doesn't matter what I heard--I just wanna know where it's coming from.

[He looks at Riku, then looks at the woods.]

So what's up with this creepy forest, anyway? [He can't deny he's really curious, but he just has a bad feeling about this. Some part of him knows Riku called him here to go into the forest, but he's not sure why Riku would have called him of all people. There's no enmity between them, but they're not friends...]

[ riku makes a frustrated noise, standing straight and raising his eyebrows at axel. really? ugh, as lea, he's so much more... helpful. but he schools his expression and looks away from him. if he wants to not be helpful, he can be. riku's not his boss, and he certainly isn't xemnas. ]

I just wanted to know if it was anything interesting. [ it's a benign statement, and he frowns at the question as he brushes his hair back. ]

No idea. A few people already went inside, but I haven't heard from them.

Rumor has it that the treasure is real...

[--says some talk, dark, and obnoxious handsome person walking up to them. he keeps his gloved hands in his pockets, and nods to both of them like he totally belongs in this group.]

Hey, kids. Finally getting that expedition underway?

[Axel glances up at the newcomer and tilts his head a little. This is a new face. Though he's spoken to Robin before, he didn't get a video with his texts, so he doesn't recognize him.]

Rumor has a lot of things; I'll believe it when I see it. [He lifts his eyebrows inquiringly, then glances at Riku.] Friend'a yours? [Playing nice with Riku is odd enough, but playing nice with strangers is a different story entirely. If this is going to be a big group field trip Axel's not sure he's game.]

My captain. It's only him, Sora and I coming along. [ riku clarifies, seeing lea's reaction before he looks back at robin. ]

Yeah, we're just waiting on the slowpoke now. You didn't see Sora on the ship, did you?

[Robin waves at Axel as he's being introduced, since he's friendly like that. likewise, he's got no idea who this spiky-haired redhead is... but that probably won't last long. to Riku:]

A while back, but I'm not sure where he is now.

[and then to Axel again, holding out his hand for a handshake...]

I'm Robin. Pleasure to meet you.

[As soon as Robin says his name, Axel's expression perks with recognition. He shakes his hand crisply and grins.]

Nice to put a face to the text; we've already met, in a manner of speaking. I'm Axel. [He folds his arms and glances at Riku again, then jerks his chin toward the forest.] So I presume we're all going on a field trip, then, is that it?

[ah! he grins back, he can't help it.]

Oh, it's too late! We could have kept it a secret, left poor Riku guessing all evening...

[WHICH he says while Riku is standing. right there.]
