[ It's another day, another planet for the Drift Fleet to explore. Whether it be relaxing in the landing field, checking out the spa (and subsequently getting urged to enter the woods), or taking on the Enchanted Forest's game, there's enough to do for stir-crazy Fleet members.

Just remember one thing: make it look good. ]

[A long nap? Sounds interesting... she glances at him, and then back towards the trees, bundling thoughts, thinking about what threads she ought to pursue.]

They're quiet mysterious. You'll see if you venture into the woods. [A brief flash of toothy smile.] Strange visions...

[It's the best way he can describe where he disappeared to for a week. It had felt a lot like sleeping, except it was the opposite of restful. This planet, on the other hand, is doing a slightly better job]

[He hunkers down at the edge of the pool and tests the heat of the water idly]

[The water's hot enough to steam. Hange is flushed all over from it. She watches him idly.]

Not real, in the end, it seems. But they were made to appear quite convincing...

[He hums thoughtfully as he stands up and begins to toe off his shoes.]

The subject of the war you were fighting?

[He only knows she's a soldier and that the war was going badly, but not what it was about]

The very same! I'm a researcher, and they're my subject of choice. They're called titans. Big bastards. Lucky for all of us they weren't real...

I hope they'd be big if you call them titans.

[The coat comes off next, which he takes the time to fold neatly as he talks. The doesn't seem to take care of much, but he babies the damned coat.]

How do you fight them?

You use special gear! The 3DMG. Three-D maneuver gear. [she gestures with her hands while she talks and little rills spread out in the water around her.] It consists of three parts: the harness, the flight belt, and the scabbards and swords. You have to use your blades to try and slice out the nape! That's the vulnerable point.

How does it make you fly? [And he'll actually make little flapping motions with both hands]

Haha! Well, we don't literally fly. You always need a higher point to fire off of. The flight belt has the grappling hooks as part of it, and a spout for gas to escape. You fire the hook at the point you want to go to, and allow gas to escape to launch yourself. There are two hooks, so you can move from point to point using both of them.

[She points towards him!]

Aren't those wings going to be unwieldy while they're wet!

[He loses himself imaging this novelty of an idea, smiling to himself, when her question catches his attention]

Only a bit. Or have you never seen a duck? [At which point he'll grin and start unbuttoning his shirt]
