[ It's another day, another planet for the Drift Fleet to explore. Whether it be relaxing in the landing field, checking out the spa (and subsequently getting urged to enter the woods), or taking on the Enchanted Forest's game, there's enough to do for stir-crazy Fleet members.

Just remember one thing: make it look good. ]

... I don't know. I'd like to say it's the last place somehow continuing to be a pain in the ass even after I'm gone, but who knows if that's even possible ...

Something like that. The last place I was, it could give or take away memories at the drop of a hat. Sometimes you could get them back, but other times ... It was permanent.

The mind works in strange ways, if you fiddle with it enough. I just hope they'll come back to me eventually.

After the two or three year point it doesn't get much worse from there, if that's any consolation.

In any case, a lot of the memories of those times are still a little mixed up ... and even if I were to remember it all, there's a lot of people I'd remember who wouldn't remember me.

Oh, those guys. [he leans back...] Indescribable, ineffable. The Gods are supposed to be all-knowing and all-powerful, but they whole mass of them come off as a bunch of jerks half the time.

I'd probably be a huge jerk if I was all-knowing and all-powerful, too. [ a smirk ] If there's anything I've learned in life it's that those types of things go to someone's head pretty bad.

Were I a more scholarly type, I would argue your interpretation and point out the philosophical flaws in your statement. But I am not, and yours was funnier anyway.
