A question, for those that may be familiar with such things:

...How is one meant to walk in these? I had tried them on earlier, but I was met with - ah - well, let us just say that I am not accustomed to such things. If you happen to be though, any input would be highly appreciated. [ lessons in walking in heels even more so, but they can get to that eventually. ]

Yeah. They actually look like a pair I used to wear years ago! Although I had... way more of a heel on mine than those do. Those look rough.

I do not. I imagine such things would be quite a hindrance while one is walking great lengths, or doing much of anything for that matter...

But I've worn heels before. There's a trick to walking in them, and once you pick it up, it's just a matter of adjusting to the height.

Not really, once you're used to it? I mean, I had a couple of gear sets at home with tall heels, they never got in the way of adventuring.

I think it changes your center of gravity. You'll have to walk with more pressure on your toes.

Well... if you've never worn them before, practice is what it's gonna take. They'll feel weird at first, and don't wear them too long or you'll get cramps in your feet and your calves. But you get used to them.

You could try walking up and down the corridor of your ship with them. [It's narrow, so you know. If you lose balance you'll probably able to catch yourself before breaking an ankle.]

And if you hate them, don't wear 'em.
