Who: Anyone! Everyone!
Broadcast: If you want!
Action: On the FLOOT LOOP stations! Or the planet!
When: WHENEVER time is an illusion.
[you know the drill! this is a mingle for the stations floating around the bizarre forest planet, or the forest planet itself!
want to get away from the forest illusions? are you stopping for supplies? were you just really craving a bowl of Floot Loops for some reason? whether you are backdating for pre-planet shenanigans or just want to mess around, this is the post for you!]

actually, if you do some math, he's... drinking like he doesn't want to live, but maybe he's just got a really fast metabolism or something.
either way, you know that thing where you accidentally make eye contact with someone and then look away really fast and pretend it never happened? Robin doesn't do that. he catches eye contact, gets really curious about the mysterious, glowering guy in the corner, and then gets up to cross the room.
with a little smirk.] Hi, stranger.

He wasn't expecting the guy to make his way over, and sat up a little in his chair, not quite high alert, but somewhere near.]
...Hello.

[for someone who's been drinking so much, he has a really good handle on his words... though the wavy little gesture he makes in Fenris' direction seems more on the overly-fluid, tipsy side of things.]
Still new, right? You must have just been put on a ship.

Yes. I arrived on the Tourist recently.

[he almost laughs, the expression sticking in a friendly smile now.]
Can I buy you a drink?

[Fenris is so dry about everything, it's hard to tell if he's joking or not. He considers, for a moment, turning down the offer. But he hasn't accumulated any real money, and he would rather be able to continue drinking. He'd planned to just steal any more drink he needed. This would probably be better. He inclines his head.]
Thank you. [That deserves a name.] I'm Fenris.

I'm Robin. Like the bird.
[he rests his arms on the back of a chair, leaning in...]
What do you like?
no subject
[He grimaces, peering at the Floot Loop concoction he's been drinking.]
I do not suppose they have anything that does not taste like it crawled out of a confectioners?

Everything's always about Earth, isn't it? We have them in Gratia, too...
[and you know what that frown is just going to keep going while he slumps down against the back of the chair, what little allure he had... disappearing with his will to keep himself standing upright.]
And I guess I'll ask. Hold... Whatever thought you might have had, there.
[and! back upright! he's walking away to the bar, but he'll be back.]

It seems to be a popular world. We have plenty of birds in Thedas, just not that particular kind.
[Fenris watches him go, a touch confused. Wow, and he thought HE was touchy.]

I got you this one because you're hair is nice. It's conveniently its own chaser. [barely a pause.] The shot, not your hair. I didn't say that well.
[he plops down in a chair next to Fenris, pulls his own drink over, and leans on the table... say goodbye to your alone time, buddy, because you have acquired one (1) Robin for as long as he can get away with it.]
So, what do you think about the Fleet?
no subject
I will take your word for it. Thank you.
[Maker he is so awkward, years in Kirkwall, and months in Exslilium and his social skills are still awful.]
It is better than being forced into a war zone, though I would still rather be back home.

[he just... peers at him. swirls his drink around in its glass.]

Was that a statement or an inquiry?
no subject
[...casually scoots Fenris' drinks closer to Fenris.]

I am simply well mannered.
[He isn't, not really. It's just a hard habit to break, being thankful for the smallest of kindness. He doubts he'll ever be rid of the feeling of unworthiness instilled in him.]

Maker, are the drinks on all the stations like this?

We were in space for a time with the Initiative, upon their moon base. It was.. [He pulls a face.] Cramped and unpleasant. Here, at least, we have a little more freedom, albeit a monitored sort.

[he really stretches that first word out, recognition slowly dawning over his face while he unpacks something from the overstuffed filing cabinet that is his memory.]
I think a good friend of mine had been in the same place for a while. She's gone now, but... [he tips his glass up onto the edge of its base, the drink coming very close to spilling out over the table. he appears to be completely oblivious of it.] You guys went on missions as part of a resistance movement, right? Not you and her specifically, but you and other people.
