[It isn't peaceful when the man in the broadcast finally stirs awake. One moment he's merely laying there, awkwardly nude and as still as death, the next he's a flailing mass of limbs that succeeds at knocking himself to the floor. There's a grunt as he meets the floor, and what ensues is a rather odd struggle as he tries unsuccessfully to untangle himself. The best he can manage is a disorganized heap, arms caught beneath his torso and cheek pressed uncomfortably into the floor as he very adamantly voices his displeasure.]

Ordis demands to know what is going on immediately!

[There's certainly anger in his tone, but beneath it there's notes of increasingly uncontrolled alarm, which only seem to increase exponentially with each word. Strangely though, it doesn't seem as though he's quite used to the act of even speaking though, as he struggles to unpin his arms, his hands fly to his face and fingers probing about his features with almost frenetic energy. It can't be pleasant, because there's an exlimation of surprise and pain that has him jerking back and staring wide eyed and horrified down at his arms.]

[What? What that's so many words, he's never heard anyone go on that much, aside from Alad, and frankly he has no positive feelings for the man so he's left actually momentarily distracted as he tries to sort through all of the information. In the end, he gives up and decides that being upset is far more worth his time.]

More to-the-point message for the network, so they can see it there and know you're looking for them. You're stuck on the Marsiva, the big ship you're on, until the end of the week. So you can check around there and see if your Operator has been brought in too. It could happen.

But they also might not be here, Ordis. You're here because the Atroma kidnapped you from... like a different universe. That's why all of us are here. Some people have friends from home, which is really cool. But some of us--some of us don't. I got separated from my partner and... and I haven't seen him in months. It sucks really bad, but you'll be okay even if that happens. You're tougher than you think you are.

[But he neglects to continue, because educating people isn't what he's at all worried about at the moment. There are far more important issues, and he doesn't wish to continue listening, but it's impossible not to.]

Ordis refuses to believe that the Operator would abandon him again. The Operator promised. And Ordis is not to be commandeered! Not again.

[The memory of Grineer hands gutting him, ripping away foundry pieces and hull- it leaves a sick feeling in his chest.]

Ordis must find the Operator, the Operator needs Ordis, and it is Ordis' job to serve. Not to be taken prisoner.

Ordis, stop. No matter what your Operator hasn't abandoned you. It's not your fault that the Atroma took you, and it's not your Operator's fault either. You just... you just show up here. No one can stop it. At least none of us. It's a shitty thing that happened.

So it feels bad, but don't think it's because your partner abandoned you. That's not how it is at all. If they're not here, they're probably going crazy looking for you. [Wait, she doesn't want to think about that in context of Maine... oh no.]

Ordis has been taken before.

[A memory that he'd rather not relive, given any possibility. The thought of being commandeered, and scavenged, again is horrifying, especially if there are powers at work that aren't fully understood. Are these Atroma sentients? It would almost seem as such, if they possessed such powers.]

Ordis has a job to do, and that is to serve the Operator. The Operator...Ordis would hope that the Operator would not find a new cephalon in Ordis' absence.

Your partner won't forget you, don't worry. Partners don't. Even if he can't get to you, if he's a good partner he'll be thinking about you as much as you're thinking about him.

For now, you've got a job here that's probably not as cool as your job back home, but you can be good at that too. You definitely seem like someone who works hard and is competent, and that's important. [You know Wrath This is completely sincere.]

It is not being forgotten that Ordis worries about.

And while there may be work here to be done, it cannot be as important as keeping the Operator safe.

You've got to do what you can for now and not make yourself crazy with what you can't do. That's all I'm saying.

[Well, hundreds of years separation have already taken care of the first part. The second part though-]

[But for now he's stuck in this form, and so completely alone and it's so confusing and hard to try to wrap his head around.]

I know Maine would if he could. He did, before, when... when something bad happened to me. But I also know I'm not somewhere he can get to, right now.

But you shouldn't feel bad for asking honest questions and saying what you think. People don't do that enough. It's better to just be straightforward, and that way things aren't as confusing.
