I am looking for drawing tools. Charcoal, parchment, paints, anything of the like. I have credits I am willing to trade, but I find myself running low on my personal supplies.

[ Having left, his limited supplies of paints had been left to the Pathstone and Cole. Now he needs something to do with his hands and he feels almost... Twitchy with too much time on his hand. ]

Otherwise, I may offer artwork itself in trade. Any visitors to the Pathstone will have seen examples. Thank you.

[Cole doesn't text unless he has to, instead he comes and finds Solas with a double armful of art supplies. Mostly paints, though there's some brushes, origami paper and a single bright yellow chalk marker as well.]

Elize likes markers and pencils better, but I was painting my room. I'm not very good at it, but I have things you can have.

[ It has been some time since they saw each other last, mostly because Solas has been avoiding Cole - even if it was only subtly, concerned for how the spirit might be handling the overload of new information and memories. There is no denying how glad and relieved he is to see him, however, and he steps up to greet him and the supplies he has brought with a gentle smile. ]

Thank you, Cole. I appreciate it, very much. [ He pauses, then his smile softens all the more. ] Elize brought me a gift. Glitter paints. It was incredibly... Sweet.

[Cole is good at not being around when he isn't wanted or needed. It's a skill he hasn't lost.

He nods at the mention of Elize.]

She is. She's one of the kindest people I've met. She's like the warm light of a table full of candles. Sorey isn't. Sorey is bright midday sun through a canopy of leaves. He's very kind as well.

[ There, Solas pauses, considering for a moment before he focuses entirely on Cole.

Sorey. He knows that name, and it's not one that brings any sort of pleasant emotions to him. ]

You are friends with Sorey, then, I take it?

[Cole immediately steps back.

He picks up the emotions, and isn't sure why Solas would feel that way.]

[He's also starting to fade away, exerting will to vanish.]

I don't suppose you'd ever take to sketching on the opposite side of drawings you've already completed to save on parchment.

Interesting. What things would work for you?

For charcoal, pencils, parchment, things like that-- anything, honestly, since that's fairly simple. But paints I'd need something close to the substance-- oil for oil, that kind of thing. I don't know much about art, I'll be honest, so you'd have to guide me a bit on that, but.

I think, perhaps, I will be able to manage. It would be no trouble...?

I have some drawing tools! [ A pause. There's a bit of a problem though. ] Um...but most of the ink are in shades of pink.

Elize. [ There's a soft noise, definitely a laugh, but a charmed one. ] There is nothing wrong with pink.

Do you like pink, Solas? [ Are you a pinkist...? ] I don't have any paints though. Only markers, pens, and pencils.

I see no reason not to like pink. It is a colour, and all are necessary in art. [ He smiles, softly. ] Would you be willing to show me a 'marker'?

I don't have paints, but I have pencils and colored pencils. Some paper too.

[ they can set aside pretending to be overly friendly ten year old and be an actual ten year old for like fifteen minutes a day and just doodle flowers.

[ Solas has a knack for summoning children, it seems. He's not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. ]
