[ Of all the games that this planet has to offer, the one that Winter is the most ecstatic about is paintball. While it's not deadly, it's been so long since he's had any sort of weapon resembling his old Colt M4A1 rifle, and he takes to it like an old friend. Anyone who happens to be on the enemy team isn't showed mercy. A quick double tap to the head or chest from his position on top of the many barricades takes out his competition before he slinks down to find another vantage point.

He sees FDR, moving quickly around a pillar. New target acquired. His footsteps are silent as he aims to get the jump on him. As soon as he's behind, his gun is raised, just above the stranger's shoulder. He fires at another player intending to blindside them. ]

Never leave your back exposed.

[FDR spins around when he hears the shot fired and he eyes the masked man standing behind him, with that little pearl of wisdom like he's a god damn hero. It's cute. So he grins and shrugs.]

But then when would you get your chance to shine? [A thanks is probably in order, but if they're on the same team that's just the expectation isn't it?]

That was a...[Because he knows enough about shooting guns to know just how impressive of a shot that was. A little lower and he'd be pretend missing an arm.] A decent shot. You practiced at this?

[ Nope, totally not a skilled assassin or anything. Not at all. He gives FDR a look, conveying how absolutely unimpressed he is. ]

[Uhuh. There's two kind of people who give vague generic answers like that, dicks who are just trying to bait people, or people who are actually, and so failing, at hiding something.

It's really the worst thing to say to a nosey CIA agent.]

Yeah? You're really going to end it there, mystery man?

Winter.

[ And that's all he's going to offer at the moment. Ask away, CIA man. He's had worse interrogations- Winter is friends with Peggy.

...That, and, you know. Soviet spy for 70 years. But that's neither here, nor there. ]

Winter? Is that a description of your general disposition or a name?

[But standing still and conversing in the middle of a paintball game doesn't come without a distraction. Though it hardly takes an effort to shoot the asshole trying to sneak up on them between the trees.

More important things going on. Like learning about his new friend here.]

[ Hope you're ready to move, FDR, because he's heading to a different location. One where there's a bit more cover and perfect for sniping. ]

Name. [ Well, nickname. But that's what everyone calls him. ]

[ Watch his six and he'll mow the rest down until a better position is found. No weakness to the rear, adequate tactical vantage point. ]

[Yeah, yeah. He knows this game well enough, even if he's used to taking the lead. He's got plenty of practice with a partner and watching his back. In fact, he works far better with a partner. So he's got Winter's back, keeps an eye out and his gun up, in case anyone tries to come from behind.

He catches one or two, but most of the action seems to be in front of Winter. Figures. Leader always gets to have more fun.

But once they find a camping position, he squats down next to the man, eyes surveying the scene.] Just you and me or is there someone else securing the flag?

[Or they could just kill everyone. You know, he's not picky on what tactic they use to win.]
