But if I do you'll leave... [ And that's why he's resisting even if he is a little drowsy. Hot!mom times are precious to him and he doesn't want to miss any for sleep. He isn't used to them enough for that ]

[She nods.] My Mom and Dad. I learned to read when I was still pretty young, but I still wanted them to read to me sometimes. [Not enough though. She wishes she spent a little less time being independent back then when she could have spent more time with them.]

You're really lucky... I don't remember mine, and I never learned how to read, hehe. [ The village he'd been taken to upon waking and being found hadn't been one with a high amount of literacy, and even then he wasn't there very long before they'd decided to burn him alive.

Then the vampires had come to the village, and...well. The rest was history. ]
