I will take you to the Blue Fish, then. [The young man feels a little heavy to him, but that might just be because the poisoned air isn’t doing him well either.] I take it you are a friend of them, then?

[Robb walks slowly until he sees the familiar ship. Then he hurries a bit more, kind of eager to get back inside.]

It makes a man wonder why they want to put us here. Unless they want to see us getting poisoned.

Mostly just Allen. I'm a regular at the blood drive, so he knows me.

[He's met a couple of people besides that, but none he'd expect to recognize him immediately. Which probably means he could stand to socialize more, but oh well.]

I'm sure that us being on a planet like this makes for some good drama. We're supposed to be entertaining the universe, right? The potential for character death has always been something to bring viewers in.

The blood drive's just a monthly thing- people can donate blood in case someone gets hurt and needs a transfusion. Don't know if it happens, but it's smart to have a supply on hand.

Anyway, I'm definitely not suggesting someone should die for drama. But they're probably hoping that someone will be dumb enough to get themselves poisoned, or worse.

It would be extremely foolish to allow them such satisfaction. [He pauses briefly and gives Kirito a bit of a smile.] Mayhaps next time you should not fall into poisoned water.

I am not that familiar with modern medicine, that is all. [He walks a little bit more firm now.] When we have arrived at these showers I will turn one on. Must I help you with your clothes? [Not that Robb has ever done the things a squire does but in this realm titles and crowns do not matter much.]

Oh god, no- that's okay, no thank you. I think I can manage that.

[This is already beyond embarrassing, he can't imagine getting that sort of help from a stranger. ...Well, okay, it'd happened in the hospital back home, but at least they'd been paid to help him.]

Sit down here then. [After putting the young man down to sit he walks towards one of the showers, turning one on.] Do you prefer a hot or a cold shower? You can adjust the temperature without cooking the water first.

Once seated, Kirito can at least get himself started, tugging off his shoes, socks, jacket, and shirt.]

But that comes down to discipline, too- people can still stay active if they want to, even with the tech. What I like about it is the possibilities. You can hang out with and talk to people who live super far away, when in different circumstances, you might never meet them. It can be pretty life-changing!
