[Y'all, Misty can't be the only one who hates this place, so let's all gather on the Iskaulit, safe from all that dark and rot down on the polluted moon and have ourselves a good time!

(Or at least, a pollution-free time).

[She nods thoughtfully, realizing it's not all that different from her belief in God and that he chose her for a reason.]

You just gotta have faith I guess. Always easier said than done though, right?

I wouldn't know.

[ He's never lost his faith. In a way, he is his faith. He embodies it completely. ]

So you never once lost faith, never once wondered if you were doin' right?

[She's incredulous, but also impressed. Her faith is strong, but it's definitely had its wobbly moments.]

I've certainly wavered and lost faith in myself. I have simply never lost faith in the Force.

[ And Obi-Wan can't entangle himself from it. ]

Guess that's why you're so bright, brighter than anyone I met. We were all too scared.

[ Uncomfortable with praise, Obi-Wan seeks to deflect it. ]

I don't think it's quite the same. My upbringing was very strict and from what I hear - very different to most people even in the Fleet. Making that comparison is fair.

All the same, doesn't make you any less bright.

[She kneels next to the potted plant and takes a vial out of her pocket, then looks up at him.]

You make me better too. I've been around too much darkness and rot, some of it's bound to sneak in. But I'm better here.

[ He glances at the vial curiously. ]

Because there's so much light?

[She nods, her smile small but appreciative.]

And because I'm not alone.

Now, watch!

[She tips the vial over the plant, letting out just a few drops. Seconds later the plant, which had formerly consisted of a couple of small waxy green leaves, bursts forth with new leaves, growing bigger and bigger until a flower pops out. Then another and another, all in bright tropical oranges and pinks.]

[ Obi-Wan is genuinely impressed by the way he stares at it. ]

Amazing. How did you do that?

[Just the reaction she wanted! She's pleased by his approval and grins up at him, giving the vial a little shake.]

It's my potion. Made it myself!

How . . . ?

[ Obi-Wan has never seen anything like it and his academic curiosity has him looking over the plant from all corners. ]

Green magic. Miss Cordelia was teachin' me until... [She frowns, a passing darkness which she quickly pushes away.] Anyway, she's the best at potions and plants and growin' things.

I wonder if a potion like this could help the planet below us.

[ The applications could be limitless. But the extent of it might be unknown and it might not last that long in the atmosphere. ]

Maybe. [But she looks doubtful.] I've never tried to make that much before. And I don't know that anyone else could make it. Doesn't work if you aren't magic.

[ He nods. ]

Perhaps we can pass along this sample. And see what they intend to do with it.

If you think it'll help... what's happened here ain't right.

I think it can't hurt.

[ Things being as bad as it is. ]

[She stoppers the bottle up and looks at it thoughtfully.]

Who would I give it too though? One of those terraformer guys?

No, I don't think that would be a good idea.

[ Especially since they seemed to be on the suspicious side. ]

Let me see if I can find a more neutral authority to give it to.

All right. I trust you: you know how all these space politics work better than me.

[ He's honoured by her simple trust in him. ] I'm not a big fan of politicians myself.

I never paid much attention to 'em. Seems like a bunch of bullshit to me.

I know a few good ones. Unfortunately they're the backbone of the Republic.

[ And they, sort of, control the Jedi. ]

What does that make the Jedi then?
