[Cheese appears on the screen with a wide grin and a wave of his hoof.]

Hey everypony!! Today is a super duper awesome day! It's Pinkie Pie's birthday! I know she's pretty new to the Fleet and all, but I've thrown her a little shindig and I'm sure she'd love as many of you lovely folks if you could show up. She will for sure pay it back in kind when your celebrations come up. I mean, if you think I'm a good party planner, you wait til you see her.

So yeah! If you wanna come celebrate her birthday, come on down to the Iskaulit. I'm gonna be bringing her over at about seven. It's gonna be a surprise!!

[Action: Iskaulit]

[And those coming aboard the Iskaulit will find glitterly arrows stuck to the walls, leading them to the room where Cheese has set up the "little shindig". There are balloons and streamers everywhere, bunting and banners hangs from the ceiling - all bearing the face of the aforementioned pink pony. Food tables stand to one side, filled with delicious (but vegetarian) dishes, while another table holds more deserts and treats than you could ever imagine. The center-piece is a birthday cake which seems to be in the shape of an aligator. But Cheese isn't actually that great at the culinary arts despite his name, so it's kind of hard to tell.

Regardless, it's clear a lot of effort has gone into this, and the theme PINKIE IS GREAT is perhaps a little too obvious. But this is what happens when you put others on pedestals. Time to party like they're not on a bunch of spaceships trapped in a reality TV show for the rest of time. Woooo!]

[In fairness, he's good enough not to just turn up and scare the shit out of the little ponies.

He remembers Cheese saying something about timber wolves hunting and eating them, so he comes in low and not trying to be silent, but there's noise and scents and he's curious.

And sneezes when he gets a nose full of over sugared air. Which is not subtle, because Bigby is HUGE. Casually eat a person whole big.]

[And then she turns her head to meet the sneezer and... okay yeah he DOES look like a furry timber wolf, but one of her best friend has a big old grizzly as a friend and it's... not like these Atroma would drag something from their world that would eat everybody on the ship, right.

So he gets a surprised blink, but her smile stays on for now.]

[The big, glowing yellow eyes blink at her and he sits down before lying on the ground, putting them at something like eye level.]

I'm not a timber wolf.

[His voice is rich and deep.]

Cheese was scared of that when he first saw me like this.

[And those words tell her all she needs to know; her smile grows a little bigger and a LOT more genuine, and she glomps the wolf's nose.]

Heehee, I knew about the TIMBER part; you're WAY too fuzzy! And you're really nice and polite, and you're Cheese's friend, right?

[Well done, you've done something no one else here has done, Pinkie.

You've startled him.

He jerks back, because his nose is sensitive and suddenly filled with the smell of excitementhappypreyfursugar and sneezes again, sitting up and shaking his head to try and dislodge it all.]

Watch it, that nose is sensitive. And no, I'm not. We've just talked over the communicators.

[Yeah, it is a bit like snorting those tiny sugar crystal sprinkles, isn't it?

But Bigby does slide out of Pinkie's grip pretty easily, and when she sits up she flashes him an apologetic smile and rubs the back of her skull with one hoof.]

Oops! Sorry for startling you! [Then her smile goes to bright and curious again.] But you're still a nice wolf! I mean you're not chasing everybody and trying to eat us or anything. And you talk with Cheese and he's a good friend of mine so you're a-okay in my book!

[Does Bigby take hoof/pawshakes, because she's offering one.]

I'm Pinkie Pie, what's your name?

[This... is not how people react to Bigby. They're in awe, they fear him they don't... hug his nose and then try to shake front limbs.]

I'm not nice. I'm just polite.

[But he touches one toe to her hoof, his razor sharp claw carefully not scratching.]

Bigby. Big Bad Wolf, but usually, I use Bigby these days.

[Bigby, Pinkie Pie. She weirds out EMBODIMENTS OF CHAOS. Plus when you've seen enough giant monsters and magical villains as she has, you classify the ones that AREN'T trying to fight or chase or eat you as friendlies.]

Well, it's NICE to meet you, Bigby, even if you are just being polite!

[Wink! If she knew what tsundere was, she'd totally peg him as one.]

[He sits himself up straight, wary of another nose pounce if he lets his snout get within leaping range. He tucks his tail around his paws, a giant, fluffy thing that makes the paws and claws vanish under a layer of floof.]

[Such floof. Good thing Pinkie's a pony and not a kitten or she'd be pouncing on it in delight.]

Oh, this? Cheese is throwing me a birthday party!

[In case all the decorations emblazoned with her face were too subtle.]

[Birthdays... mean very little to Fables. So it simply wasn't something he had considered.]

[Even Sleeping Beauty? Her birthday's gotta be pretty important, right?]

He's used to the Iskaulit being fairly quiet, except for the two bars. And certainly much less sugared]

Oh, I like a big, loud party too, but Cheese like to go REALLY big and crazy! Heck, I had a hard time keeping up the last time we threw a party together!

[Oh dear sweet mercy, there's going to be two of them egging each other on.]

[Surprisingly, he gets an understanding smile in return.]

Aw, that's okay. I can do quieter celebrations too. What kind of stuff DO you like?

[He likes chasing down massive prey animals and eating until he's almost bloated.

But that feels like it's beyond inappropriate to say to a prey animal.]

[And she... just happens to pull a book out of nowhere, cracks it open, and then starts turning the pages by somehow taking one in the crook of the fetlock joint.]

Sometimes we use our teeth instead, and unicorns can just turn the pages with their magic!

Oh, I had it on me when the Atroma brought me here! There's this GREAT bookstore in Canterlot that REALLY helped Twilight build her bookcases back up when Tirek destroyed the library!
