[ He looks surprised to receive the contact especially considering how Winn had withdrawn only a moment prior...but his expression softens quickly. There's a grateful tinge to his guilty smile as he shrugs. ]

Sometimes... [ aka, all the time. Even the vampires he's known are long-gone by this point, so there really is no one in the world who really knows him. ]

This is the first time I've ever spent so much time with other people. It's...nice.

[ he nods with a small smile, trying to ignore that clench of guilt in his gut. they all want to go back, but for sascha, that means going back to a lonely world afraid of him. even if he took him back to national city with him - one day he'd die on him. there really isn't a perfect solution here. ]

Umm.... I guess the basic stuff is that when you're bit and our blood gets into you and you die, it makes you a vampire. But you usually get brain damage, so that's why you never remember who you were before!

So you have to get bitten and die with a vampire's blood inside of you to turn? It takes all three, if one of these doesn't happen, you don't change?

I thiiiink...so? I mean. You need a lot of their blood in you. I think if you have enough of it in you while you're alive it'll kill you too? And then do the same thing.
