[ Fast enough when it comes to Sascha, at least, His eyesight is only at its best in near pitch-black environments, and the artificial bulbs of the ships are certainly not that. It's actually harder for him to see with those one, so even if she's a second or two late in fixing her appearance up she's safe as far as he's concerned, squinting past his pair of shades when he notices someone's actually in the engine room.

[ It's obvious that she's quickly on the defensive, pushing herself up and making sure she has room to move if she needs it. It's not as though she wants to appear particularly dangerous but she can't quite help herself - instinct has her protecting her back and making sure she has escape routes before she even considers looking at the person in front of her. It's only when he actually steps into view that she relaxes for a moment, forcing her tension to one side so she can actually speak to him.
