[Hello Caprine, your new pilot has transferred in!

Poe's a friendly guy, pretty outgoing, generally helpful. While they're still at the moon, there's not a whole lot for him to do, so he's looking to fly people around in the shuttles if there's anyone who doesn't want to fly themselves--or go out on joy rides on his own.

He does miss the private quarters, though. Well, he's had to share barracks before, not a big deal. When he's not flying or wandering around on the moon, he'll be hanging out in the kitchen or on his bunk, reading. But he's happy to be interrupted for conversation.]

[Oh hey there new pilot, it's your security officer and he's rushing through the ship as soon as he hears the little jingle announcing the Shuffle.]

Poe! You made it!

[Poe's getting a hug.]

Finn! I told you I was coming.

Wanna show me where my bunk is?

[He grabs Poe's hand and gives him the grand tour. Like most of the ships, it's not actually terrible big, so it doesn't take that long before they're in the bunks.]

--and we have two empty bunks, so you can take whichever one you want. I put in for the next level but they say those don't get processed until the end of the month.

[Finn sure does have a thing about grabbing hands. He hadn't done that quite so much to Poe before--probably because Poe had been handcuffed and they'd been in a Star Destroyer--so Poe's feeling a bit bemused about it now. It's... nice. Very Finn.]

What's the next level do? And which one's yours?

[He'll grab the one closest to Finn's. Doesn't matter that much, but it's nice to try to stick by your friends.]

Over here. Next level we get our own rooms. I--never had my own room before.

[So he doesn't mind the communal quarters so much. But it would be nice....]

Private rooms... that would be great. I've been kind of spoiled, having my own room since I'm an officer, so... [He grins.] Just imagine, Finn. You don't have to listen to anyone else snoring or farting, all night.

[Finn snorts.]

I don't even notice it, tell you the truth. Might be weirder to sleep alone.

Guess it just depends on how you deal with things being quiet.

Though if you get really lonely, good looking guy like you can find someone to keep him company. [He nudges Finn, his grin teasing.]

[Finn actually thinks about that for a minute.] It's never really quiet on a ship, though. Should be fine.

[And then he laughs.] Don't know if I'm that desperate.

Yeah. Ships have their own rhythm. And there's a lot of crew on this one. Well. For such a small ship. [Capital ship this ain't.]

I'm kidding. [Totally wasn't going to offer himself up down, boy. He knows it's a crush, probably because Finn's a good looking guy who saved his life. No need to be creepy about it. He's a grown up, he knows how to deal. Which is by ignoring it.] Though man, there's a real diverse set of people around, which is pretty cool.

They're pretty tiny compared to what I've been on before. [We can't all have Super Star Destroyers.] But I don't care if we're on some holodrama or not, it's got way more privacy than I ever had. Real easy to get used to.

[Finn punches Poe lightly on the shoulder.] If it freaks me out, maybe I'll crash your bunk for a while.

[And he nods.] Human-heavy, but even the ones from Earth are from all over it.

Bigger than what I'm used to flying. So it's weird for it to be more than just me and BB-8 out there. [X-wings have their own hyperdrives, so they don't tend to spend a lot of time on carriers.] I'm glad it's an improvement that way, then. [Hell, anything's got to be better than being under the thumb of the First Order.]

[you're killing me, smalls He doesn't mean it that way, Poe reminds himself. Shit, he just needs to go get laid and get his head on straight.] Sure, but I snore. And sprawl.

Nice to see some aliens around though.

Nah, seriously, it's nice that the Caprine has a pilot again, and Pinkie's REALLY excited to actually be onboard for this shuffle since she didn't get to greet Raven or Aphra last time. Time to get her party pony groove on!]

[Well, the good thing is, Finn had sort of warned him about there being a pony, even if Poe wasn't entirely sure what a pony was. Hey, a friendly pink alien. Cool. So he grins gamely.]

That's great! I haven't gotten to try out the handling on the Caprine yet, but if it's anything like the Golden, we've got some work to do. These things handle like drunk snorbals and are twice as slow.

Mammal as big as one of the shuttles, two trunks, doesn't really care about anything because it's the biggest thing around. Can't be bothered to move.

Ahhhh, I gotcha! Hmmmm I know we can get an upgrade to make the shuttles a little bigger and a little faster, but I dunno if it'll improve the steering or not.

[Thank goodness for being friends with Rainbow Dash, who's pretty much a pony!Blue Angel at this point. Knowing flying vocan helps out a lot.]

Faster is a start. If there isn't a set upgrade to make 'em steer better, there's got to be something we can do with engineering or tuning them. Come on, Pinkie. Let's soup these things up.
