What is the status of our engines, Ordis? You're my pilot. I need your report. Check your controls.

[Can't feel the integrity, can't feel the systems, has been ripped out and left blind and deaf.]
Connection to main controls has been severed, Ordis cannot confirm the integrity or stabilization of the vessel.

Wrath moves past him with slow care, not touching him, to stand over by the pilot controls.]
I know you can't feel them. But these are the controls and you can see them and touch them. I don't understand them, Ordis. I'm not a pilot. I need your help. Tell me what all of this means. [She taps the control panel with one finger.] Report.

[It's an almost automatic response, but he's not quite focusing all the same.]
Ship functions normal, security breached, Operator at risk.
no subject
[She rests her hand on the pilot station.] Security is my job. Piloting is your job. I need your help, Ordis. Give me your report on the ship heading. It's right here but I don't know how to read it.
[Come on Ordis, focus.]

Charging through the halls, his pace quickens further at the screaming dying off. What if the Stalker had come aboard? Or worse an acolyte of his? The idea sent a shudder down his spine.
When he breaks into the cockpit, he is all bared teeth and closed fists. A low growl rumbling from the back of his throat. There was danger somewhere. There had to be.]
Ordis!

[Read the settings, read the controls, make sure the Operator is safe no, no keep focused there are orders given-
He's trying, he really is. The cacophony of noise distracts him however, and that's-]
Operator!
[His Operator. Alive. Intact. Keyed up.]
Officer Wrath. Systems nominal. Operator, security functions breached.

She takes up her position further away. Let them deal with it, but there still needed to be sometime on the bridge paying attention, she figures. Might as well be her.]

He remains on edge but it's better knowing that there was no danger. Simply Wrath and Ordis. Sighing heavily, he glances at the cephalon.]
Are you ok?
no subject
[Words are difficult and everything is so very jumbled. Better now that Wrath has done so much good, but jumbled nonetheless.]
Officer Wrath. Operator.

[The last time Ordis had been this jarred was coming out of whatever the Stalker had done to him to get onto their ship. Being contacted by the same man probably wasn't doing the cephalon any good after such an experience though he's thankful Wrath has done so much good. There was no screaming.
But something was still off. So he walks over for Ordis to get a better look.]
No injuries. He's not here. I will not be abandoning you. I promised, did I not?
no subject
Ordis will maintain current trajectory of the ship, systems appear to be nominal.
[Focus, he's being given orders, focus.]
The Operator...has not left.
no subject
Still, her voice is that same, measured, soothing and self-assured tone:] Very good, Ordis. Thank you. Keep me apprised of the situation as we continue.
no subject
He's only serving as a distraction anyway.]
no subject
[Wait, wait no, where is the Operator going? Is the Operator leaving? Leaving him behind? That thought alone inspires a whole new wave of panic, and his words die off in a choked, quiet noise of distress as he whips his head in the tenno's direction.]
Operator?
no subject
[Still very calm.] Tenno sometimes has his own duties that require his attention, Ordis. That may be where he is going now.
[Going to leave that open for interpretation. But she's certainly projecting that she's in control of the situation because arguments are really not going to help.]
no subject
So he turns on his heels and walks back to Ordis' side. He leans down to press a soft kiss onto his forehead.]
I'm yours and here.
no subject
Duties. Ah, yes. Ordis knows-
[But his Operator is there, and perhaps it's terribly selfish of him but he's apt to drink in all the attention he's given.]
Ship status. Ordis is to monitor the ship status.
no subject
[Yeah, this is going to be a problem. However, she is not going to make it a problem right now. It's not the kind of thing best dealt with DI-style, it's more of an officer-type situation. So at this point, Wrath's going to resume her own task and not interject herself in unless spoken to..]

You're doing good.

[Think. Think and work through the charts and the data. This isn't the Lotus but it's someone requesting things, and his Operator is safe and that's what's most important. The ship. He can tend to the ship.]
