[ he nods at her a little, as if to say - I know. he's the best. walking like this isn't the easiest, but he still makes it to his chair and pulls another one close before sascha can get the idea of sitting in his lap.

he does have limits. ]

[ it's a pretty silly sounding name, especially when combined with his last name, but it's his and he likes it. ]

[ HAHA yep, he totally would have gone for that lap of yours...good call Winn. Guess he'll have to make do with a chair instead, even if he hovers shoulder-to-shoulder with him. He doesn't...get the joke, or the reference, but! Winn seems to be having fun saying it, so he musters a smile anyway as he fiddles with the edge of the table. ]

[ see, this is why he likes hanging out with cisco so much. ]

[ he nods, and grabs one himself, because well he hasn't really felt like eating much when he was sitting here worrying, for some strange reason. but he makes sure to keep one arm wrapped around sascha, occasionally rubbing his arm soothingly. ]

[ Like the best buddy ever. Heck, the fact that he's receiving this sort of comfort from someone other than kitty is still a shock, but he'll try not to let it show too obviously as he manages a nod--quiet, so he's still not exactly okay, but. He's not freaking out so badly anymore. ]

You know you're never going to get him off of you now, right? [Totally okay to just speak like Sascha's not in the room, right?]

Worst case scenario I'll build a set of jaws of life.

[ he shrugs. any other day he'd be pushing him off, but he knows how badly kitty's death rattled him. if kara hadn't been there to pick him up, he's not sure he would have been able to move on from it. ]

[ Yeah he's just going to send Kitty a look at that one. He's lost. ]

[ he will take being called young!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even if it's while being told off. ]

[ but he smiles all the same and takes a sip of water, letting sascha answer. ]

--I'm awake! [ As if he needs to reassure them of this, even if his eyes are a little droopy behind his UV shades. He's normally long asleep by now, passed out on or under Bigby's massive paws. ]

I know. [Trying to sound soothing.] But you can sleep in my bed if you need to.

That's a pretty sweet offer - I'd take it.

Are...can you stay? Just--around? [ "Until I fall asleep?" And also "be there when I wake up?" ]

I can stay on the ship and be with you until you're asleep. [She'd do the other thing too. She's just not thinking about it.]

[ he's pretty sure the request is directed at kitty, so he just finishes his water and puts it down. ]

I can take you if you want - [ carry depends on how light he is - but he can let sascha lean on him? ]

[ He is incredibly light! But that's because he's on a very starvation-based diet. If he gorged himself? More muscle, more strength. ]

I...I can stay up a little longer--I'm not th, that-- [ yeah, that was a yawn ] --tired...

I'll finish another sandwich and then we can go? [Mostly because he's fading fast, but he seems so determined that she wants to let him. Is this like letting a kid watch 10 more minutes of show before bed?]

[ it's exactly what it is, kitty. and he's gonna put him in bed oh god he told her he's not ready for kids, how did they end up with one anyway?? ]

[pneumo]

[ It's okay!! He comes fully physically mature. and in no other sense ]

Mmkay. [ But to be fair, they could leave right now and Sascha would still end up face-down on the table five minutes later, arms curled to act as a pillow and his glasses pushed up his face and off his nose.

He did his best to stay up but he really is just...exhausted. It was an emotion night, and then emotional morning. ]

[Kitty notices him nodding off and she gestures to Winn about it as she gets out of her seat.]

[ he nods, and carefully getting out of his seat, he tries to pull sascha into his arms. dammit, this is awkward, how do people do that - james would probably look awesome doing it - but after fumbling for a moment, he manages to pick him up, and carefully carries him to her room. a little help with the door, please? sascha may be light for a person, but he's still heavy for a winn! ]

[She securely curls her hand into the back of his shirt and whispers.] Keep going. [When they get to the door. You're phased, buddy. The vampire too. DO NOT DROP HIM.]

[ HE'S NOT GOING TO DROP HIM OMG he would not pick him up if he couldn't do it! actually, getting to walk through the door - and not being led through it for once - is so exciting it gives him a little adrenaline boost that makes said vampire feel a little lighter.

he looks at kitty to make sure they have the all clear before carefully putting him down on the bed and pulling the covers over him.

he leans over to kitty to whisper in her ear. ]

This suddenly get weird for you too? [ it can't just be him, right? he's tucking him in. in her bed. that they share. fleet, stop trying to force him into fatherhood! ]

[Whispering in turn.] My life would have to be normal at some point for me to notice it getting weird. [She gives Winn a soft, chaste kiss. Her eyes skim back to Sascha, wanting to be sure he is still asleep before they slip out again.]
