[ The feed shakes for a few minutes before it centers on a young thirteen year old boy. He has the trademark padawan braid and robes as he sits on his knees in front of the camera. His expression is quiet and muted, though it seems like he hasn't had much sleep. His eyes are red-rimmed and tired. ]

Hello. If you could tell me if this ship is heading to Coruscant, I would be grateful. If not, I'd be happy to earn my way there through any duties you deem necessary.

[ He hesitates, pausing for far too long, biting on his lip. ] And if you -- you have seen Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn.

[ Action ]

[ Obi-Wan weaves himself through the ship, his shoulders hunched and his saber in a tight white-knuckled grip. Surely Qui-Gon wouldn't have left him here . . . not after coming back. Not after their discussion.

Then again, what rights did Obi-Wan even possess?

He tugs the hood over his face and keeps a wary eye on everyone who came close. This was a strange vessel and their responses got even more confusing. Best to keep to himself until he got to Coruscant. ]

[ Obi-Wan doesn't know what to make of this man. He seemed so strange and . . . childish. ]

All right. . . . I still don't know what you want from me.

[ being desperate not to be left alone will do that to a person. Abandonment isn't an easy thing to deal with constantly. ]

[ He considers this briefly and nods. ]

I think I went blind because of your light stick.

[beardstrokes]

[ Obi-Wan shakes his head. ]

It may be bright, but it's not capable of hurting someone that way. No Jedi weapon would.

[pneumo]

My eyes are super-sensitive to light. I'm not...actually supposed to look at it, hehe. [ Even though right now he's in a whole bunch of it considering the ship's lights are on. ]

[beardstrokes]

Earth must be a dark planet then.

[pneumo]

Naaah... I'm just asleep during the day. Normal humans are awake when the sun's up.

[beardstrokes]

[ Obi-Wan eyes him curiously. ]

Then what are you?

[pneumo]

I'm a vampire. [ he's already told older!obi, so he doesn't see the harm in telling his...mini clone, or whoever this is. ] It means my eyes are only good in the dark.

[beardstrokes]

[ He accepts this explanation without further ado. Obi-Wan is no stranger to other species and he simply delegates vampires as such. ]

You should live on Umbara. It's dark there all the time.

[pneumo]

....? Is that another planet? [ And that's what he likes about him♥ He's just totally chill with it, doesn't even ask any questions. Like being a vampire is something that's...well, normal. ]

It is. We call it the Shadow World.

[pneumo]

And the sun never comes up there...? That sounds wonderful.

There's very little sunlight there. I don't know much else about it though.

I hope we stop there sometime! All these lights are the worst, but everyone needs them so I can't turn them off... [ But oh, how he wishes. ]

Coruscant. It's where all the Jedi live.

[ That's such a bizarre statement. And strange, considering Obi-Wan wasn't a Jedi anymore. He's not even sure he could be one. ]

I am not a full fledged Jedi.

But you s....err. [ Right, he promised no more future-talk. Sascha shifts from one foot to the other, fidgeting. And probably not-quite facing Obi-wan properly. ]
