[ someone is coming up on Winn and trying to snag a bite of his food while he's browsing the booths. She might also lean on him or throw an arm over his shoulder. She's so full of joy she's practically humming, and completely forgetting about the touch-contact empathy. It's cool though because her insides match her outsides. ]

[ there's half an instant of freaking out before his brain figures it's gotta be kara and then checks to find that - yes, yes it is kara. and then all that's left is slightly exasperated fondness. ]

I see your appetite's back. [ his snack gets a lamenting look before being handed over to her; not much left there anyway.

it's followed by a smile. ]

Told you we'd get it. [ it's such a great feeling, sensing her happiness and knowing that in part - he's responsible for that. he did something right. one promise down. now time for the big one: getting everyone home. ]

[ huff; not the hair! it's getting unmanageable, he really needs a cut. ]

[ so long as he's getting the warm and fuzzies and gives nothing but warm and fuzzies right back to her - he's thrilled about the hugging. of course, he knows better than to believe it'll really last but having some fun together is a good way to keep any other feelings at bay, right! ]

Which could probably get uncomfortable pretty fast. But I want to go swimming and also not be naked, so compromises must be made.

We'll figure something out, after sun generator - bathing suit should be a piece of cake. Speaking of - how awesome is the food here?

It's so awesome! It might be my main motivation for earning acorns. That and the spa. Have you been over there?

[ kara, kara please. he's already struggling enough with his masculinity. the last thing he needs is a spa (even if a massage would be pretty amazing after all those training sessions with jim. maybe he could convince kitty to give him one...) ]

Because I'm not your girlfriend.

[ he's spending so much time sewing dresses and talking about feelings and hanging out with girls - and he loves them, and he loves doing these things for them, and he doesn't really want to change but...he'd still like to feel like a man. the word 'spa' doesn't really help him there. ]
