I have an important request. I need someone who can make cheese. Do cheese makers have an old timey name like cobblers and haberdashers or are those only for clothes? Anyway, calling all of those.

Cheese doesn't seem to be a thing here from what I can tell, but we're just one ingredient away from some really great pizza. I have no idea what cheese requires other than cows or goats or something. I grew up so close to Wisconsin, but I feel like I learned so little.

I would also accept alternative cheese. I know there were vegan kinds made out of hopes and dreams or something I assume. I can pay you or share the finished pizza or do something in trade if I had skills. I could beat someone up for you maybe. [She's not going to do that. Probably.] We'll work it out.

[She looks amused but surprise floods in as those thoughts catch up to her.]

[ he wasn't exactly subtle. he frowns a little trying to think about what he just thought, did he think anything concerning? he was trying very decisively not to think anything concerning - ]

Something about Jim and Remy? [It wasn't concerning exactly. But it's definitely not a thing she knows about and it is throwing off all her expectations.]

[ he shrugs uncomfortably, he doesn't really know anything officially, he just knows the tourist needs thicker walls. ]

Sometimes I hear stuff that are completely none of my business.

[ for all he knows they could be having very weird non sexual workouts that just sound like...it could also be someone else entirely, catching glimpses of him in the hallway just seemed to coincide. intuitive leap. jim never actually talked to him about...too much of anything, really. jim's the one person with whom...winn's the one who does all the talking. huh. that's really weird to him now that he stops to think about it. ]

I don't know what to do with any of this. [And she's tending to lean toward weird workout sounds.]

[ is there anything to do? they're both adults...her reaction is making him worry for jim, and he's about maxed out on anxiety. ]

I suggest ride the fancy ponies.

[She reaches up to rub his shoulder.] You make the good suggestions.

Don't worry, okay? [Just as easily said as done, right?] I trust Remy with my life. [Well, her Remy and she's not actually sure how much she trusts anyone with her life post-Piotr. But you know, something like that.]

[ he's not really worried about jim's heart - he doesn't really seem like the overly romantic type - and he's definitely strong willed and physically strong enough to make sure he's treated right, so it's not too hard not to worry too much about him. he'll always worry a little though, just because he's so important to him. little brother's prerogative. ]

We really need to work on our self-involvement.

[ he nudges her lightly ]

Well next I'm gonna dazzle you with my superior gaming skills again and then we go around in circles on ponies, preferably while eating junk food.

[ he smiles ]

To the ring toss! [ fake trumpeting, taking her hand, and leading her in a run. if you're gonna fake it til you make it, you may as well go all out with your faking! ]

[She laughs, not needing to fake very much with him as she runs with him hand-in-hand. She kind of likes this acting her age stuff.]

[ he stops at the stall and -- yeah she's still going to have to cough up the acorns, so he just smiles at her and gestures for her to do her thing. ]

Ladies first.

[She pays the lady with the rings and also holds a handful of them out to Winn.] Here, you carry some. [As if they're just a burden she needs help with.]

Is holding your rings a metaphor for something?

[ hold them he does, and he gives her shoulder an encouraging squeeze ]

Not the rings, the acorns, silly. [So that you will have some spending cash too.]

That's definitely a metaphor -

[ yeah, he's not gonna be spending it but he'll pocket it all the same because he just wants things to be light and easy now. it feels weird to take her money. nobody's given him money since he had parents to give him an allowance. he's gonna pretend they're in his pocket to avoid keeping all their eggs in the same basket because that's not as weird. ]

[That's fine by her. It's their money as far as she's concerned. Though probably even broader than that. It goes beyond her and Winn. It's Kurt's money if he needs it. Kara's. Sascha and so on.]

Okay, let's see if I've still got it. [The first shot is close but it bounces off a nearby bottle and falls uselessly to the ground.] It is a really good thing I don't fight people with hula hoops.

I dunno -- that'd be very entertaining to watch.
