Well, waking up with knowledge I didn't glean for myself is quite an experience, I must say. Does this sort of thing happen often, or is it a once in a lifetime memory I get to cherish until my probably untimely death?

[Robin smiles a little at that. She's been on the run since she was eight, and fully expected death to catch up to her long before now. Untimely her death most likely will be, but she's been living on borrowed time for more than twenty years, so she has no particular complaints.]

I suppose I ought to introduce myself. My name is Nico Robin. I'm an archaeologist. And... security officer, it would seem.

[She does not look like the security officer type. More like the secretary a sexist boss hired for all the wrong reasons type. But who knows?]

It's been awhile since I've had to seek passage with a strange crew on a new ship, but that's worked out for me quite well the last couple times, so I'm not opposed to doing so again. It'll be the first time I do so in space, however. If there's some aspect of it that wasn't included in our instant training module, I do apologize.

Because the Atroma are assholes. Luffy was here for like... a week. Maybe two. [...] Though it's better he went home. I just miss him.

Ah...let's see. I'm the Captain of the Bloodsport, one of the ships here. [She says it matter-of-factly; there's no pride in winning luck of the draw for a position that's ultimately meaningless.] And I have the pilot augment. And I run one of the bars on the other large ship, which we all share, so we kind of turned it into different communal places to go. There's a library there! [She'll love that.]

I'm not the only one here from home, though. [She hesitates, and then locks the feed. Just in case.]

Koala is here. From home. But she's just a kid. She remembers being with the Sun Pirates, nothing beyond that. And Sam, but I don't know if you'll remember him. I guess... it depends on where you came from.

I believe I've spoken to both of them- or I'm at least in the process of doing so. I thought perhaps the girl would be a relative of Koala's... not...

[Well, that's. A big time difference...]

I wonder if Gold Roger might show up...

[Wouldn't that be an experience and a half? Robin shakes her head.]

As far as I know I've come directly from Zou. I don't seem to have any recollection of Sam, unfortunately. He said he's sailed with us..?

[Her smile falters, and Nami looks unsure.]

He has. In the week between Punk Hazard and Dressrosa. You both love books, so--

Really, you don't remember him?

[Because that argument of splinter universes is something she didn't want to think about too hard.]

I'm sorry, Nami. Each time you mention it, I feel like I ought to. But I can remember clearly each day of the voyage, and the only visitors we had on the ship were Trafalgar Law and the group from Wano.

[...welp. That puts a crack in Nami's confidence that she'll go home soon. Sam's arrival told her that they were both on the same timeline, but if the rest of the crew doesn't remember him...?

Her mouth wavers downwards for a moment, then Nami smiles. She's just. Not gonna think about it for now. There could be other reasons. Like augment glitches.]

Well...hopefully you'll like him this time too, then. He was only on board for a week, so at least he won't be too crushed you don't remember.

There was a time when you didn't remember me, either. One of Doflamingo's family, Sugar, could do that to people.

It was one of the worst feelings in the world, knowing I'd been forgotten by all of you. If something similar has happened to Sam...

[She grits her teeth. They'll just have to find a way to fix it.]

[Nami stares back at Robin with a look somewhere between actual horror and you're kidding, right?]

I never forgot you...!

[Did she? She wouldn't. Didn't. Spent a lot of time on Zou not thinking about the crew because of the situation--]

I don't remember...forgetting you.

[Which sounds so ridiculous, but it's an upsetting thought. Robin's crew. She doesn't like that she could have.]

[Robin chuckles.]

How would one remember not remembering someone, I wonder? Would they even know they didn't remember unless there were someone who did and called attention to it?

You're going to give me a headache.

[The idea of forgetting is one she's just going to shy away from. Because that's horrid. Instead, she smiles weakly.] No fear of forgetting you here. I've missed you too much.

[Robin isn't entirely sure how to respond to that. After all, she just saw Nami not very long ago.]

Were our situations swapped, the feeling would be mutual.

[That's... heartwarming and caring, right?]

[Oh. Totally. Look, it's Robin. She giggles a little.]

So has someone given you the rundown of this place?

I've been automatically given the basics, but I suspect there's a bit on the side that hasn't exactly been added into the augment's index. It's been implied on more than one occasion that the reality tv show may or may not be a hoax?

Well, nobody's seen hide or hair of our mystical audience, so it's kind of hard to prove or disprove either way. I guarantee you there's people on fleet that are boring to watch, but they haven't been swept off home due to lack of ratings.

It may be our audience comes down to just the Atroma.

So the question becomes, is the Atroma the name of a people or a singular person? Does it change anything, if there's only one Atroma rather than many?

No one's really sure. I tend to think of Atroma as an organisation-- we've seen two spokespeople on their behalf. People who've been here longer might be able to tell you more, though.
