[All things considered, Cass is taking this weird as fuck field trip pretty well. She had learned that people could go up into space, and the very basics of what space is. It's been something that fascinated her from an early age and now, any misgivings about how safe it may or may not be are overwritten by how exciting this is.

She's standing up against a window with both hands on it, peering out into the vastness of space with an expression that can only be called wonder on her face.

She's also wearing a skin tight batsuit as she does this, like it's totally normal to walk around in something like that. The cowl is off though. Who needs secret identities when you've already been kidnapped?]

Always liked the stars. I know some... of the pictures they make. The bear, and the spoon. [Otherwise known as Ursa Major and, you know, the Big Dipper. For people keeping track.] Never thought I'd... be this close, though. It's cool.

[ Stephanie has been exploring a little, still in her (she's starting to think a bit outdated) Grey Warden armor. At least it's mostly cloth with a bit of leather rather than plate, right? ]

[ It is. She's just glad she just cleaned and repaired it recently, so it's not stained in Darkspawn blood and ripped and so forth. There are still some slightly suspicious-looking stains, but they're much less noticeable. And less... smelly. ]

[The video feed shows Tim, in civilian wear, leaning into the console, hands gripping it tight, tension, relief, surprise, concern.]

[She knows that, but he puts an emphasis on it. Tim, not any other name.]

[That was voice. After a moment, the video feed clicks on and Hange grins back at her.]

It is pretty incredible to be here in space, isn't it? Too bad we were all stolen right where we stood, or else I think I'd be delighted to be here!

[Something dims in her expression at the mention of that name, but only for a moment.]

Cassandra.

[She doesn't offer her last name, though. Instead she presses her fist into Stephanie's palm, her own version of a handshake.]

[You've got a lot going on there Tim, are you alright buddy? Cass looks concerned, but also a little unsure about this. They had a good enough relationship the last time she saw him, but it wasn't something that would warrant this kind of a reaction.

He must have been lonely, she thinks, or vastly outnumbered by enemies he had trouble with. That's about all that makes sense under the circumstances.]

Are you okay? You look... [Like you really need to relax or something, but she'll just keep that to herself.] Not great.

That's me.

[She turns a little so the bat emblazoned on her chest is more visible. It's entirely possible no one has ever been as proud to wear that symbol than Cass is, which is a big part of why she isn't bothering to hide her identity. Also because it's dumb, but mostly because of pride.]

Good things can... come from weird ones. Can still be delighted, if you want. What's... delighting [delightful], about here?

Interesting! [But she drops it for the moment. Rests her face against her knuckles for a moment more, and then tilts her head back to laugh.]

Well, seeing the different planets we stop at, for one! The first one wasn't exactly one to sing about, but fascinating in its own right! The second and third ones were even more interesting! Just recently, we visited a planet with a forest that projected illusions!

[Hiro looks an awful lot like he's been working all day. His hair is extra messy and he's got a burn mark on his shirt. Seems he's taking a break, settled in on the Bishop's bunk room.]

[And that is something Cass hasn't even considered yet, that they might be so far from Earth that she might not even being seeing the constellations she knows. But Hiro is smiling at her, connecting her to something he's fond of, and it's difficult not to smile back at him.]

[She points, hoping he'll catch on.]

[ It would baffle Stephanie more if she weren't already expecting to run into some differences. After all, there were differences enough between Fereldens, the Dalish, and the Dwarves of Orzammar - this is a place with people who've never even heard of those places. ]

That's a very [ tight ] unique piece of clothing you're wearing. Is it for some purpose, or is it just the style in your world?

[ she's genuinely curious, though trying not to look too closely. ]

[ Cecil has no idea what the whole Batgirl thing means, so she looks a bit puzzled and curious, but she doesn't ask about it, politely stowing it away to question later, when they're better acquainted maybe. Instead, she focuses on the other immediately interesting thing the girl said. ]

[Cass has always been a bit of a showoff, though, so she has no problem with holding the cape away from her body to let Stephanie have a better view of the suit.]

For protection, mostly. Also says, to people who... know who I work with, I'm with him. That they should be afraid.

[It's not fine, but what she really means is it's something she feels she can fix on her own when she's ready to fix it. No one has drugged her or strapped her to tables and there's no water rapidly filling the room and threatening to drown her, so yeah. Everything's fine.]

[With no way to describe them, Cass chooses instead to breathe on the window she had just been looking out of, then makes a series of dots once the glass is fogged up.]

They start like this. And then... [She traces the lines out into the shape of what could be called a spoon, if you were being creative and extremely generous with the definition of the word spoon.] Makes the big spoon. There's a little spoon, too.
