hank mccoy; ota
[as per usual, when there's not much choice but to stay on the ship, Hank can be found in the lab. It's very likely you'll find him hunched over a microscope or a notebook, scribbling away in his usual shorthand. Of course, you may find him scribbling away in a different notebook, translating all of that into actual words.
Either way, the man likes to keep busy, and this is the best place to find him]
b. hangin' around;
[of course, he can't stay in the lab all day (despite his best efforts), so when he's either at his limit with notes or he's simply waiting for whatever he's working on to finish up, you can find your captain hanging around and reading.
Quite literally.
That's right, he's found somewhere high enough for him to hang from, using his feet, and has gotten into the habit of doing that while he's reading whatever books he's picked up from the library. While he's blue, while he's not blue, it doesn't matter. Just be careful not to startle him]
c. wildcard;
[for visitors, for something else, anything your heart desires! Hank can be found all over the Blameless during the month, so have at ♥ Also feel free to request him as Beast, if you want the blue guy!]
b
She's so completely taken by him, it's a little bit ridiculous. ]
Don't fall.

And then he's standing up straight and whirling around like he's been caught doing something he shouldn't be]
—er. Hi.

[ Pushing herself forward, Raven walks over and shifts, lifting her hand to smooth down some of Hank's hair with a gentle hand, her eyes flickering over his face before she softens. Leaning up, she gives him a quick kiss to the forehead before she bends down to pick up his book.
Her boyfriend is an idiot. How could she forget? ]
Come here often?

[he leans down just enough to make it easier, his hand reaching out once she stands back up to snag her free one, tangling their fingers together.
He's not an idiot, he's just an easily startled nerd]
Not yet. I mean - it works, so - maybe?
no subject
[ Their fingers are all tangled and she smiles, shifting up to lean closer, stepping into his space with ease. She can't help it - she adores it, and it prickles at her with a giddiness she can't hide or disguise. It's something so simple, but something incredible and normal.
She'd given up on normal, ten years ago, and here she is. ]
Doesn't your head hurt when you're upside down for too long?
no subject
He glances behind him up where he was hanging from and shrugs]
Not really? I haven't been at it that long, though. It'd probably start to bother me sooner or later. [maybe. He wasn't sure, considering how rarely he indulged in this little quirk]

a.
Are you busy?
( She'll come back later if so! )

He glances up when she enters his lab and greets her with a smile, immediately shaking his head and closing the notebook he was writing away in]
Not at all. Hi, Moira.

( There's a start of a nod that turns into a smile, and though they've become more friendly than they were able to back before the mission there's still some of the formalities that are hard to shake away, at least for Moira from her training. She's used to having to be a little stiffer and formal around most people )
What have you been working on?
no subject
Ah - just some notes about the the Fleet. [he taps the notebook with a finger] And about the planet were just on. I like to keep records of everything.

( Like any memories - photos, diary entries - that you'd have at home. Moira moves to one of the other chairs, pulling it out to sit on before turning back to him )
It was an interesting place.
( A little weird but interesting )
no subject
It certainly was that - did you have a chance to explore at all?

Still, he has the expression of someone caught with their hand in the metaphorical cookie jar]
Uh - [he turns the book over] - theoretical physics. Hi.
no subject
Well, you're definitely in the right place for it.
( Space. Upside down. All physical things. Ha ha )
Anything interesting in it?
no subject
Well - it's all interesting, but if you really mean "useful" - nothing so far.
What brings you by?
no subject
Just visiting friends.
( Is it you, is it someone else? Who knows!! )
It's nice seeing the other ships.
no subject
They're all pretty different from each other, huh.

Hi - did you need something?
[it's only a little easier to be casual about this with the crew, since most of them were accustomed to his mutation anyway]
no subject
Does it not give you a headache to read like that?
